Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 16hI suspect that ended up being the case for a lot of people. 010
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 16hSame for me! It’s so easy to be jaded about wrestling. Schiavone is always a great reminder that we are seeing some amazing stuff, and it’s WEEKLY! My favorite thing about the first AEW show he’s on is him just flipping out at how much fun it is. 020
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 07/10/2026And any man would crumble having to sell Russo WCW. Schiavone was unfairly maligned for doing what he was supposed to do. All this to say, I am grateful we get to hear him regularly. I love hearing him have fun. I don’t take it for granted. 1171
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Older fans point to JR as the voice of wrestling, and I would too, but the reality is he was A voice of wrestling. Schiavone was, as well, and while it’s easy to shit on late era WCW, there was a golden period there that Tony was at the helm for. 1161
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 07/10/2026One of the things I’ll always be grateful for about AEW is completely rehabbing Tony Schiavone’s image. Newer fans may not realize that he sort of became a meme/joke (wrongly IMO) in the IWC. AEW brought him back and showed that he’s the HOFer he should have always been celebrated as. 7505
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Anyway, this is fucking great. Digging the new Blitzkid album. This song is a standout.youtu.beBlitzkid- DEMONICA Lyric VideoYouTube video by BLITZKID 000
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 06/10/2026If you find yourself enjoying something and wondering what others think, stop. Just stop. You’ll inevitably end up on Reddit where everyone will tell you the thing you like is actually bad and the old thing was waaay better. Saved you a click. 000
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 06/10/2026And now I tried Wipeout recomp and my god, this stuff is just incredible. Taking this ps1 game, running it in widescreen, high res, 60 fps; I am in love! 000
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Finished the demo for the new Castlevania and I am sold BIG time. Absolutely loved it. Was bummed when the demo ended! 000
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Seriously! It’s not like we’re in a woman shortage here! Who the fuck wants/needs that? 110
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Finally dipped my toes into the recomp scene, and W O W. Playing these N64 games at 60 fps widescreen, some with hd textures already applied, is an incredible experience. Made Wave Race 64 feel completely new. You play the games how you remember them, not how they were. Fascinating stuff. 040
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Death metal fans have much better pit etiquette than punk fans. Almost had a real fucking issue tonight. 030
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Oh interesting. Yeah, I feel like he fell prey to that kind of thing a bit in TNA as well. I generally like him but sometimes it’s like one ingredient too much. 010
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 04/10/2026This is exactly the kind of sickness (complimentary) I am looking for! 010
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 04/10/2026This is like King of the Mountain all over again, where it’s truly not hard to understand, but somehow everyone is going to be baffled. 120
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Thanks for the tips. I always read it was super in depth, which scared me off, but that kind of granularity sounds interesting to me now. 110
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 04/10/2026I like that, too. Also thanks for the reminder I need to get into TEW. Used to be way into EWR and JOW more recently. 110
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 04/10/2026This is the nittiest of picks: Kofi needs more to his name. AWESOME AUSTIN CREED And Kofi It’s too unbalanced! #AEW 440
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 04/10/2026@lacewings.bsky.social did you end up getting Defy tix? 111
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 03/10/2026“I made more money outside of WWE so I begged to go back to WWE for less money” is a spectacular self own. True cult shit. 130
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 02/10/2026A Perfect Circle tickets acquired! Finally saw Tool this year. Finally seeing APC next year! 000
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Correct! Not everything is forever and that’s totally okay! 240
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Acclaimed was PERFECT for THAT specific time in AEW, but reality is that time is gone, singles runs had low ceilings. A change of scenery could potentially do some good. 030
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Singing songs at Lariat Bar. (Yes bskyers, we have a wrestling themed bar here!) 020
Reposted by Peter🔪🔪🔪bryan 🔪 🔪 🔪 @murderxbryan.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I’ll be honest, the Orange Cassidy vs Mox match was really just one of the most emotional and beautiful things I’ve ever seen and it got me 5991
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 01/10/2026There’s nothing to say that others haven’t, but just, that whole thing was beautiful. Kudos and hugs to everyone, everywhere watching this, participating, wrestlers to fans to family. The night was perfect. RIP PAC #AEW 0385
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Tell your friends you love them. Do not be afraid to say it. I say it all the time, and I don’t give a fuck if it looks weird or what, cause god forbid if something ever happened, I want them to know it and never doubt for a second, nor do I ever want to regret that I didn’t tell them. 030
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I can’t watch live. In a way, as weird as this is to say, I’m bummed I can’t grieve with you guys while it’s happening. RIP PAC #AEW 030
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Hard to take you guys as doing anything resembling journalism when you post shit like this. 120
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 29/09/2026DEFY! Can’t wait to see you in December! Living that balcony life, once again. Been way too long. 041
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 29/09/2026At this point, never never N E V E R break up the Death Riders. You want to shuffle people or something, sure, I guess, but there’s no real reason to end it. #AEW 060
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 29/09/2026The vid could be titled “Surefire Way For Peter Specifically Just Him To Become A Billionaire” and I’ll never click it. 020
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 29/09/2026The thing YouTubers who put 2 mins of information in a 20 min video, or misleading topics, don’t understand is this: yes, I’ll watch your video once. I will NEVER watch another video of yours again. 120
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 28/09/2026This theme was such a fucking banger.youtu.beWWE: "Break Orbit" ► Neville 5th Theme SongYouTube video by Saint 030
Peter @peterjamesreilly.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I remember the first time seeing Adrian Neville in NXT hitting that red arrow. I flipped out so hard, I made my lapsed wrestling friends watch it. They bugged out, too, and I think that was part of the puzzle of bringing them back in. 040
