Andrei Federov, Former Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia advised that measures will be taken against the UK for supporting Ukraine. He was told that the measures proposed would be contrary to International Law. He said no one cares about International Law anymore, right out of the Trump playbook.

The inadequates Kushner and Whitkoff were negotiating a nuclear deal with the Iranians in Pakistan when Netanyahu flew into the White House and left without fanfare and Trump ordered the attack on Iran while they were talking. Watching the Ceremony of Remembrance of VE Day 80 years ago I’m forced to wonder how different it might have been if Isolationist America had joined the war in 1939 and not 1942 after Pearl Harbour. The War might have been over in a year and the Holocaust would never have happened.

@bbcnewsnight.bsky.social We need to learn from Trump. We should make America pay for the military support etc provided by Allies including Ukraine after 9/11 which was at the time offered unconditionally. If payment is not forthcoming we should withhold all support for the USA in future.
