I saw this attitude a lot at the BBC: a belief that if they’d ‘already done’ climate change, the audience wouldn’t want to see it again. Whereas our audience research showed viewers assuming that if climate change was still a concern, our national broadcaster would still be talking about it.

The best thing about travelling to a conference by train is you get to stop off en route. (The downside is that you sometimes end up spending the night in a different country to the one you intended to. But that's another story.)
