Rewatching it, I'm convinced REBEL RIDGE may be the best Netflix original movie *and* one of the best movies about modern America. It's insane they're not promoting the hell of it in as LANTERNS airs. They'll regret it when Aaron Pierre is cast as James Bond.

AND HER BODY WAS NEVER FOUND - dir Polaris Banks - I love this movie. If you’re an aspiring indie filmmaker in particular, check it out, because it proves you do not need all the money in the world or a huge crew to make a fantastic movie. A clever idea goes a long, long way.

FAMILY MOVIE - dir Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon - It’s about a family of low budget genre filmmakers - played by all of the Bacons - who will do anything to keep their latest production on track. Fun, splattery, and seeing this family all on screen together is a delight.

Our movie MAN FINDS TAPE premieres at Tribeca in less than a week, so we've started doing press for it, so I'm realizing I'm going to get real obnoxious talking about this movie, but I'm just so excited for the work everyone put into it. Make weird movies. And make them with friends.
