Watched the #eclipse with a solar viewer. Saw sunspots too! Love how it gets people talking. Can we have an eclipse every day please :-)

Just come into Brighton on the 17 bus from Horsham where it was a beautiful sunny day. Passengers now in disbelief 😂

View of Preston Park in Brighton with thick fog giving less than 30m visibility.

Never seen these before - giant willow Aphids (I think) have appeared on my goat willow tree. Thought aphids were just summer bugs? #RHS

Hey London - Brighton & Hove doesn't get littered with bikes - @BerylBikes has bays with fines if you park outside. Well used across the city. Copy it!

Stunning route from Falmer to Eastboune along the UK Ultra South Downs 50k yesterday.

A group of hawthorn trees all bent over by years of strong prevailing winds.

First time I've seen these - documents of my great uncle George, who served in the merchant navy and then the Royal Navy during WW2. My mum keeps everything! #VEDay

One of the best online collaborative activities I've done, teaching electricity. For 45 minutes, the entire classroom was engaged, sharing ideas, teaching each other, reinforcing work from previous lessons. Great stuff @cossettej.bsky.social #iteachphysics tinyurl.com/bdzmn4h9
