BÖC, Agents of Fortune. I always looked for the writers and musicians on each song. As a budding saxophonist, I heard the sax solo on “True Confessions,” saw that it was Mike Brecker, found the Brecker Brothers album Heavy Metal Bebop, and the rest is history!

My kid lives in Murray Hill, and my sister did back in the 90’s. I love hanging out there when I go visit. Good bars, coffee, and most of the best jazz clubs are within a reasonable walking distance :)
