And - even sillier - people who wear facemasks in public, with their masks under their noses.

Of all my moans, the one which probably upsets me most is so-called "airport security". It inconveniences the innocent, it offers many opportunities to either fraudulent security staff or accidental loss, and it is no deterrent to a halfway determined criminal.

I owe Sir 2-tier Starmer an apology: I said that re-joining the EU would be a "day 1" job. I was wrong: he left it for several months.

Why on earth is Starmer greeting the use of e-gates in Portuguese airports with such enthusiasm? A cynic might say that he is an aficionado of all things Euro-bureaucratic.

There is not one single supporter of the idiots who still wear facemasks in public in the UK on this site. Excellent!.

We need to persuade the MSM that the man-made climate change myth is exactly that: a myth!. There have been natural cycles in the world's climate since the dawn of time.

And every single illegal immigrant into the UK is taking medical, accommodation, educational, dental, and other social services from a genuine British citizen.

There are STILL people wearing facemasks in public in the UK. Why? Are they protecting themselves from this so-called killer disease that isn't decimating the population? Or are they infectious? If the latter, I'd rather they stayed at home!

When the UK was in the EU, we couldn't legally prevent illegal immigration. Now we aren't in the EU, we cannot practically prevent illegal immigration. And the French authorities do nothing - well the problem is being transferred to the British, so why bother???

Bloody illegal immigrants!!!

Yesterday over 1100 illegals crossed the English Channel. That means 1100 more people will receive immediate housing, medical, educational, and social services, at a time when too few real UK citizens have access to those services. And does the Government make any attempt to stop this flood? NO .

I had an offensive interaction with a poster whose tag-line was "equality for all". What he clearly meant was "equality for all, unless you express right of centre political views, in which case be damned to you".

an illegal immigrant into the UK is guaranteed not to be departed immediately, if ever. Meanwhile, he or she receives - paid for by those mugs who have let you in - full medical, accommodation, education, and social services. All those services are better than those the local mugs enjoy.

Read The Conservative Woman on the inappropriately heavy sentence passed on Lucy Connolly for a less than diplomatic X message. People convicted of violence at the same event received lesser sentences.

In local UK store today, a checkout woman is wearing a facemask. Why? And why does the store let (or compel) an obviously unwell employee work in an environment where she meets many others and she can spread the dreaded c-stuff?

Today's rant: I hate people who think that the 2 words "all right" are one word "alright". I can understand whence it's derived: by conflation with "already". Of course "already" isn't the same as "all ready".
000
peteluton.bsky.social @peteluton.bsky.social · 23/05/2025
The Left feel that jailing a woman for >2 years for an offensive tweet is valid. They didn't comment when a comedienne suggested throwing acid into the faces of Tories, nor when a "Liberal " councillor wanted to gas those who disagree with him.

peteluton.bsky.social @peteluton.bsky.social · 22/05/2025
Illegal immigrants into the UK receive free of charge (provided by the UK taxpayer) housing, medical, social, educational, and other benefits. Are those morally justifiable when UK citizens cannot access the same benefits?

A flotilla of small boats set out across the English Channel to commemorate the evacuation of Allied troops from Dunkirk. The fleet was diverted to avoid a boat full of illegal migrants!!!

peteluton.bsky.social @peteluton.bsky.social · 20/05/2025
Lucy Connolly should be freed. One (admittedly indiscreet) tweet/x isn't worth over 2 years in jail. Maximum, morally, would be a caution.

Stupid woman on today's bus wearing a facemask. Why on earth did the driver let her onto the vehicle??

So, Starmer has sold the UK, and especially the fishing industry, down the river to the EU. AND with none of the (dubious) benefits of being a full member.
000
peteluton.bsky.social @peteluton.bsky.social · 18/05/2025
Last year, I said that Starmer would apply to rejoin the EU the first day he was in office. I was wrong - it's taken him nearly 10 months! But, even more than taxing private education, it was a racing certainty with that crook.

Very worrying report I today's Telegraph about a retired policeman improperly arrested and cautioned by Kent Police. Sadly, it happened under a nominally Conservative regime.

When I'm dictator, anyone who uses the word "refute" when he or she means "disagree with" or "deny" will be subject to a fixed penalty of £500. As all halfway-educated people know, it means to prove wrong.

Is today's UK the one for which our parents and grandparents fought? I think not. I note: an Army smaller than at any time in 200 years, an ineffective NHS which consumes more taxpayer money than the GDP of many sovereign states, the welcoming of illegal immigrants, two-tier policing.......

Whatever else, Trump is unashamedly American. This is is in contrast to many other politicians who try desperately to be everyone's friend. (Apart from right-wing white men).

In the UK, illegal immigrants are immediatelt housed, fed, and given full medical, educational, and other social care, all funded by the taxpayer. That's all very laudable, but many UK-born citizens don't have access to these privileges, which are theirs by right.
000
peteluton.bsky.social @peteluton.bsky.social · 07/05/2025
I repeat my assertion: illegal immigrants who are convicted of crimes should be deported to their countries of origin, without reference to their "human rights".
000
peteluton.bsky.social @peteluton.bsky.social · 05/05/2025
Why are we still granting illegal immigrant criminals "human rights"? As illegals, and as criminals, they have, morally, forfeited all claim to human rights.

What is the point of airport security, apart from giving employment to those who enjoy bossing other people about? I suggest that not a single terrorist incident has been prevented by the process.

Excellent results in UK elections this week. I really will put my money where my mouth is and join Reform. Maybe they will genuinely do something about the illegal immigrant problem including deportation back to country of origin.

Excellent result in UK by-election last night. On a warm May Day, illegal immigrants into the UK this year are now over 10 ,000 a record. This is despite 2-tier Keir's election promise.

In the UK, an illegal Afghani immigrant, who smuggles sex toys, has been granted asylum because he'd be persecuted because of his business in Afghanistan. This criminal should be deported without delay.

In Studland Bay, England, anchoring your boat is prohibited, to save the eelgrass, and thereby protect seahorses. Sounds good? A fisherman in nearby Poole Bay caught a bream- in its stomach were 38 baby seahorses.
