A circle of large boulders forming the outer circle of the cairn 17 metres in diameter. Beyond the rim can be seen the stones of the cairn with a  mature Scots pine growing out of the cairn.

Located in a woodland clearance on a small hill is a huge, four metre long, recumbent stone flanked by two large, 2.7m tall, standing stones. Well impressive.
