pestyrobot.bsky.social @pestyrobot.bsky.social · 05/10/2026#transformers #maccadam I’ll be stressing out trying my hardest to keep my fanart‘s proportions consistent so that people don’t think it’s too amateur and scroll past. But then I look at the actual show and it has frames like this: 094
pestyrobot.bsky.social @pestyrobot.bsky.social · 04/10/2026#art #artistsoninstagram #plush #noai Merrylegs is a horse plush I’ve had since I was 3. I’ve recently found that she’s quite enjoyable to draw, and I’m including her in the story I’m writing. She is very floppy and scruffy due to years of love. I tried to capture her floppiness. 030

pestyrobot.bsky.social @pestyrobot.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Not all creatures of The Shimmer hatch from these eggs. Only new souls do. 000
pestyrobot.bsky.social @pestyrobot.bsky.social · 03/10/2026They are indestructible, vary in size and color, and don’t hatch one particular species. What these eggs hatch into can sometimes be predictable, but there is still much that is unknown about them and what determines the kind of creature they hatch into. 100
pestyrobot.bsky.social @pestyrobot.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Because Shimmer Eggs must be played with in order to produce energy, technology in The Shimmer is designed to be fun to use or at least fun to look at. Shimmer Eggs are also often used in decorations. It’s not uncommon to see a lava lamp or fish tank with some eggs floating around. 100
pestyrobot.bsky.social @pestyrobot.bsky.social · 03/10/2026 In order to hatch, they must be played with for a few hundred years. The joy of play fills them with energy that can be utilized as a power source. Due to these factors The Shimmer has an infinite source of energy, thus allowing its native creatures to live in peace and harmony. 100
pestyrobot.bsky.social @pestyrobot.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Shimmer eggs are unborn new souls, which haven’t yet had any previous incarnations. These orbs mysteriously emerge from The Shimmer’s oceans and there seems to be an endless number of them. 100

pestyrobot.bsky.social @pestyrobot.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Always found it weird how people will criticize canon media when it’s being problematic. But when it comes to fanfic and fanart, people defend it as if their lives depend on it. I guess maybe the logic is “less people will consume fan content than canon” but I feel like that’s a poor excuse. 110

pestyrobot.bsky.social @pestyrobot.bsky.social · 25/09/2026ex: I really don’t think the reason the art direction for the Zonai is so much different in totk than it was in botw is actually lore-relevent. To me it’s obvious the Zonai were never originally meant to be significant, and Totk just retroactively used some lore that was sitting around in botw. 000
pestyrobot.bsky.social @pestyrobot.bsky.social · 25/09/2026As much as I want a big tree stumps and art on the walls of a temples to actually mean something significant, I really don’t think they do. Nintendo is not known for focusing heavily on lore details. To me most fan theories sound too cool to ever be canon. 100
pestyrobot.bsky.social @pestyrobot.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Zelda fans will really come up with some elaborate, lore-relevant, genuinely interesting theory for an object that Nintendo devs probably just placed there because they thought it looked kinda cool 100
