June asks Onajae, "Are you a cat?" She teases and his ears airplane as a result, the tip of his tail twitching. "I'm surprised they let you out of Thimbledon with some of this stuff."
"Oh, most of it is killed here." He gestures as if the animals were running wild in Palace halls and he was just pursuing them. "Where the hell do you find pheasant around here? They would die in the swamps." She gestures towards Glashtyn, holding a bag of rabbit loin. "There's forests past the sister city. All sorts of things are in there. Deer, hogs, squirrels, partridge, ducks, goats, sheep, there's a lot of rodents too. If you go deeper in you can also find elk and.. moose? meese? What's the plural of moose?" "Meeses to pieces."
"Yeah, that." He wags his finger in agreement, "that sounds right. Meese."

Dolores gets panicky at the sight of blood, even a small cut makes her start going oh! oh god!! Onajae, Ghost and Ayu'anda aren't bothered by blood at all considering they work with vampires a lot, its helped them not be so squeamish. June, Minerva and Anastasia see blood as food.

It is so bad, some members of staff have been known to form cliques and become disgustingly aggressive to others who have been around Onajae to service him. Onajae hates it with every fiber of his being and its because of them he no longer makes appearances in the service area of the Palace.

Oh absolutely. Being the first Prince who wasn't thrown out of the palace and kept in line to receive the throne, Onajae is an anomaly to all. A lot of female staff believe they have a chance to court and marry him or pretend to know him personally despite barely getting to see him in person.

However, in her defense. She really had no plans of ending up IN the royal family and had no real motivation to get with Onajae and didn't expect it to happen. She's much happier these days and finally knows what a healthy relationship looks like.

Technically.. June never divorced her abusive ex of which she had her first son with before becoming a vampire. Most everyone she asked if she needed to go get that annulled told her since she's a vampire there's that law that she can't go back and see him or family so what's the point. So, yes.

Onajae, no shame, rubbing his back against a corner like a dog throwing a fit on its back. June is quite flexible and could probably reach it if she over extends one of her arms. Ghost would ask whoever is around her to get it for her. Ayu'anda would ignore it until it pisses her off.

This is also why I will write like 1 big story and then there'll be like 1-3 smaller ones between the next larger installment. Allowing me to write about any of my characters, same universe, different one, does wonders for my writing flow :3c

Absolutely, I have to or else I will burn myself out trying to think of things the primary characters could do/experience. I can go very long stretches of time without writing due to having ideas for other characters but forcing myself to work on the primary characters first. Horrible idea, btw.

It also became his second favorite word. He would go around the house yelling mama, fuck! for nearly two weeks. Until he picked up other words, he all but forgot about that word, but Ayu'anda was mortified and couldn't receive company because her wife would cackle and goad him to say it.

Ayu'anda put Onajae through a LOT of speech therapy, took him until he was seven months past the usual checkpoint to say mama. She bumped her coffee cup off the coffee table and went "Ah, fuck." cause some spilled. Onajae? "fuck." He picked up the word so instantaneously his mother shrieked.

Which is now why at certain times of the day the Palace will suddenly be filled with lifting voices singing hymns. Every year on the anniversary of her father's death at exactly 7:17 pm the speakers will play 'What Sweeter Music' as it was the last hymn she ever got to sing to him before he passed.

Ayu'anda's biological dad had an incurable form of bone rot that left him bed ridden for his last two months of life. Her dad was very religious so she'd spend a lot of time in his room straightening things up and singing hymns with him. When he passed away she was ultimately blamed for his death.

Onajae's not bothered by it as he is always on fire and has immunity to heat from birth. June HATES when it's hot outside, since she's a vampire the warmer her body gets the more sluggish and tired she becomes and spends most of her time sleeping until its cooler outside.

For Onajae? His great, great grandmother Thulayqui. She's very old, she's blind, and has Aphasia from her prolonged battle with dementia. She still has moments where she can talk but they're very rare. When she CAN talk, she never has anything nice to say. So, Onajae avoids her like the plague.

Honestly??? Might be looking at like 22-24k words as finisher. That's nuts. I've never breached over 34 pages in my writing and when I put on the pages mode for Ellipsus its showing I'm at 41 pages with this. I'm stunned by how drastically my writing has changed in the span of 3 years.

I don't pay attention to the word count much so when I looked at my WIP today and noticed I had 100 words to get to 20k I was stunned. The first time June met Onajae sucked. I will admit, it was heavily rushed and the pacing was ass. I'm excited to do it right this time. >:)

Because of June being a well dressed plus size character I had to do research on how to coordinate outfits and find her body type and things that flatter her body type which led to me better discovering how to make better outfit coords for myself and finding my sense of style! :3c Thanks, Juneberry!

June and Minerva both love card games as well as interactive story telling. Onajae is big on reading and playing video games. Ayu'anda, Ghost and Dolores are super into TV soap operas and daytime television. Especially terrible historical dramas.

Onajae has long, lop bunny ears that hang usually over his shoulders, the outside is a honey wheat gold and pink on the inside. June has bunny ears, black on the outside and inside. Ayu'anda has black pointed ears with three piercings on each.

At least 60+ alabaster white stairs with a handrail and a ramp with some very old well taken care of trees on one side, the entrance into the gated community on the other. The White Palace doesn't offer much to see until you're inside of it. The outside is just.. blindingly white. For no reason.
