Getting a cactus fence/ hedge started cuz it's free, and keeps animals in and out better without having to extract resources from elsewhere

Cutting of cholla cactus planted in the dirt, along a chain link fence line

I no longer care about messy, cuz I'm not gonna be commoditizing my existence:

Noticed I had a stress hair in these but, yea I'm liking how it's growing out as a whole~

The only point I'd like to make though, is that humans also spread East and across the Ice Age land bridge too which, would include a whole lotta other brown folks 🤔

A map of human migration, with the numbers of years since they are first recorded before present

your last saved meme is your moral philosophy

How I sleep knowing my very existence as an indigenous person threatens the foundation of the settler state...

Followed by me sleeping very peacefully and very indigenously in my indigenous bed with my indigenous face

I wanna do commissions for money but drawing's been physically painful since the stress from going into the comic industry broke me so, I'm recovering from that...

Well not everything GOOD o3o What I mean I guess is that, a lot more indie artists I'm running into are starting to shift away from modeling themselves after big companies by being samey, and are looking to be more experimental again. Which, I honestly see as a breath of fresh air...

Wanted to share a lil background on my avatar. I was inspired by the doll work of rosalba.loya on Instagram, who makes and sells these handmade dolls, and deserves some recognition and support for her work!

Recent sketchbook pages cuz I'm still tryna recover from my multi year art constipation

Copic market sketching, tryna get my hand moving again mostly.

Some more copic marker sketches.
Tryna go for coming up with a new shorthand when thumbnailing people.
And, I figured using a thick ass marker would help me focus more on the shapes I want better.

What if we just use the alt texts to write more stuff in our posts, till they make the numbers bigger 🤔

Like think about it: it'd be super easy to just fuckinNnNnnn, have a little opening question or some shit, and ramble on in the alternate text.

Character limit is 2000, and you can do the formatting where you space your paragraphs n all that too.

So yeeeeE, just think thonkin to myself.
