Yo, bluesky, what's with this ass engagement lately, is everyone else's house flooding too?

The general consensus is that my art looks better with colors. Either I need to accept that or I need to find another way to make my b&w art better. What to do, what to do.

Jaromir used to do a lot of things, farming, hunting, logging, woodworking, the list goes on. Nowadays, they just cook and bake for their wife. Too bad no amount of lotion will soften undead hands. #art #oc #hereafter_cottagediary

A drawing of a couple cuddling, one is a blonde woman, another is agender masc person with scars all over. The image has speech bubbles that read
‘I have never noticed that you have such scarred hands.’
‘Ah, I used to do all sorts of manual labor back then. I…had a lot to prove.’
‘Chuckles’

Not me wanting to change my art style again because it suddenly feels easy for me, and god forbid I do art that I am not tortured in the process.

I know we are all struggling right now, I am also just trying to make my freelancing dream come true. A free way you can help support me is to spread my commission info around! Share it with friends, share it to other sites, share it in servers, hell, mail it if that's your thing!

My dad is watching a Chinese series that obviously uses AI to do VFX, and everything looks so cheap even the actual filming was cheap looking, I have seen youtube videos with better camera work. Is this what we want? Cheaply made things just to waste our time on?

I feel so lost with art right now, I don't know what to do next honestly. I can no longer picture my art as vividly as I used to, and that blurriness is causing me anxiety over the next step in my journey.

I hate coloring and I have been quite happy just doing black and white art but I also think that it perhaps doesn't suit my overall style? I don't know, I've been a little anxious about it and trying to find why people are not drawn to my style.

I want to use other platforms not just bsky to reach more people but every other site feels so bleak. I don't want to 'content-ify' my art, I draw muscle lesbians, I don't 'make content for the youths with attention deficiency.'

I don't know if anyone still remembers that Faust has vitiligo. I am struggling to show it in black and white form, and darkening Faust's skin to show it feels wrong.

If you are gonna draw something and you have to put 'I don't condone this irl' in the description, you can maybe like...not draw it. I dunno, just a thought.
