I'm pessimistic about this, maybe because I saw what happened to both Hockenheim and Nurburgring when they went to a rotational calendar slot together. Ominous feeling it is a means to an end once this contract expires. I hope I'm wrong!

Finally happened. That contract extension he signed (which was a shock even then) means he gets to take a heftier payment to vacate the seat too. Expect Lawson to be announced soon, but really I wanted Yuki to get the recognition he deserves and a shot in a top team.

This is a ridiculous argument - The drivers make the BASIC request that the stewarding be consistent, and he comes back with a financial issue? How much do the teams and drivers pay the FIA to be allowed to compete in Formula 1 again? Do the current stewards not get paid? Ben has to go now, please.

I can already hear them typing "Brit bias", but the fact is he destroyed Piastri's race, and almost cost McLaren the Championship. And he knew he had done wrong as well, he apologised to Piastri after the race. 10s? Probably lenient based on it being lap 1...
