I prefer the chiclet style keys of laptop and the Apple Magic Keyboard than a mechanical keyboard and I hate to admit it.

I'm gonna need to swap the typefaces I'm using for tawnsent.neocities.org soon. I like Cabin Sans but hell do I wanna swap Instrument Serif, it just feels too synonymous with the US Gov and their recent design decisions, and low key the typeface combo I have is giving Claude vibes.

Ive watched so much stuff from Tantacrul that every time I read a lenghty piece of text, say a blog or a book... My mind just hears him narrate it. Worse, reading smut on AO3... eurgh... Make it stop!

This kind of internal conflict I have is kind of the reason why I experience, like, internal homophobia sometimes. Its an experience I share with people I'm close with sometimes and I am surprised that its not something people talk about more. Probably because this is a me thing maybe

This is the dream our forefathers fought for.

A person sitting at a desk in an office, smiling at the camera. A computer monitor displays characters Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Disney's Zootopia. Text on the image humorously references Claude doing their job, allowing time to look at art involving Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps.

I really would wanna post them! But I'm not sure if I want to associate Tawnsent (my personal brand) with haha Brawl Stars yuri fanart or BOTW Revali x OC yaoi even if I cooked on the art so well huwhuauahah. kill me.

There's a funny little dilemma I have about posting works, and it heavily regards around posting my fanart. Like, I have some fanart that I made for my own pleasure that I think I cooked really well and could fit my portfolio but at the same time its too over self-pleasure than professional work.

Concept I did for my prelims in a graphic design course. A deck of cards but mystery murder house themed thingamajig, except I only have Ace of Heart, Diamond, Clubs, and Spade lololol, didn't have enough time to make the rest. I did this in #figma btw lol

Ace of Heart, Diamond, Club, and Spade but the card designs are a mix of corporate memphis and bauhaus(-ish) elements, and the central theme is a horror murder mystery house.

The design is quite abstract and the palette is limited to shades of grey and red.

What do you guys usually play to drown out the quietness while working, music is obvious but I've exhausted the many times I play my 100+ albums I've downloaded on repeat. Playing long video essays is good too but I cant find one that I like to hit play and forget while locking in.

You can DIY a skin for your router, definitely, but the design of the hardware is FAR from any kind of typical router I've seen since childhood.

Per nick et y bot @pernicketybot.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

These caught my eye, a wifi modem/router that has skins and a touch screen... I'm intrigued, they're called 'the101' and my local carrier is selling the regular model locked to their network.

I always see people wish that Flash still existed. I think they're so blinded by nostalgia that they forgot who owned Flash... I'm honestly glad we finally got past Flash. I hate Adobe from the bottom of my heart even if I unwillingly pay for a license through my institution.

I have zero prior experience making themes for Twilight menu, changing the backgrounds are actually really simple! The hard part is changing ANYTHING related to the grf folder without touching GIMP (I did all of these in Figma but I succumbed to just compositing them in GIMP)

Per nick et y bot @pernicketybot.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

I found a really cool TOTK theme on the ds-homebrew website and thought it would be fun to make my own additions to it. Eight hours of troubleshooting, I finally changed the bottom screen background, cursor, folder, and software backgrounds.

Currently the most dilemma inducing shit Im going through for Tawnsent is me posting like, self-indulgent fanart... I do not think posting Revali x Link or Magnus x Megatron on my instagram portfolio account doesn't sound appealing when I'm gonna apply to an agency or freelancing.
