Still here! I’ve just been cutting down on my social media lately and focusing on practicing guitar, playing some newly acquired physical games, etc.

FYI the state I’m in is requiring the age verification thing so if you don’t hear from me for a long time after this post, it’s because I got asked to verify and I’m not sharing the info below. sorry not sorry 🫩 Catch me on FFXIV I guess? Maybe it’s time to publish my website…

Bluesky age verification methods: Last 4 digits of SSN, Credit Card, ID Scan.

As a science fiction writer I really fucking resent tech bros for ruining the phrase "artificial intelligence." 80 years of it being all about cool androids and interesting computers destroyed by five years of "Spicy autocorrect making everything shittier for money." NEVER FORGIVE.

in the 4th grade we were hand-writing 2-5 page creative writing essays in class every week to sneakily teach us about paragraph and narrative structure and highkey I think it was one of the most important things I did in grade school.

I’m still catching up on Fanfest stuff because yesterday was my birthday so I had real life stuff to do. Alas, I couldn’t attend Fanfest in person but still enjoyed watching the live stream. I was truly fed on my name day with lots of FFXIV updates. As a reaper main, I’m winning. 🎸👀

I sadly cannot go to Fanfest. It would have been an awesome birthday treat for myself. I am however, picking up a shiny (literally) new guitar 🫣 Definitely don’t want to miss the concerts so I’ll be watching the streams online.

Devastated to hear the entire Marvel Studios’s Visual Development team has been let go. This was my old home but more importantly, the home of so many incredible artists and peers. Absolutely heartbreaking 😔 Sending all my impacted peers my love and support. Please reach out if you need anything!

Churning between the wonders of swimming with sea turtles, whales, people soaring around the moon, cosmic exploration, all the miracles we have here on our life raft... And the horrors of a criminal regime getting away with unfathomable sex and war crimes on the daily... Its all I can do to paint.

The art depicts a teenage angel with long wings and a prosthetic arm. He holds brushes and spray cans for graffiti. It is surrounded by skeletons of archaic fish and metal pipes. On the background is a tyrannosaurus skull with cherubs and Old Testament angels painted on it.

Exercising my free will by painting one of my most beloved Final Fantasy characters (hint: 🏴‍☠️🐉👑) [ #art ]

A painterly portrait done in a muted, dreamy palette. The androgynous figure has long, blonde, curly hair that's pulled into a ponytail and is wearing a black coat with multicoloured fabric on the inside of the lapels. Inspired by Yoshitaka Amano's design of Faris Scherwiz from Final Fantasy V.

I have my by first-in-a-long-time guitar lesson today! I took a guitar course in college for a few months and then 2 private lessons after graduating but that is the extent of my guitar education lol Mostly looked at YouTube videos to learn what I know but I’m still very much a beginner.

I’ve been expanding my CD collection again (don’t own a record player and vinyl is pricey :C ) and adding music to my iPod. It’s weird (in a good way) how this clicky wheel and interface makes me remember the names of songs and albums I own.
