Also why would I need to surrender my passport for 2 to 12 weeks just to get a sticker that’ll allow me access into your country

I just had to print out a 52 page full insurance policy for a visa application. These requirements get more and more ridiculous as time goes by

Dear Nigerian businesses, why do you do this? In what world is 98,000 Naira equivalent to $280? And you will still charge shipping on top of this 344% mark up

Nothing more ironic than an anti aging treatment ad on a textual review of a film about women’s aging and the lengths women will go to pursue youth and beauty.

Monumental scam unfolding in youtube world, for once it’s not the influencers who are really at fault, but a shady company that happens to be owned by PayPal. Sterling work from MegaLag I’m not a big enough youtuber to have even been approached by Honey, but one thing always seemed clear to me 1/2

You used to be able to type out a banal, self-congratulatory tweet and have people keep thinking about it forty years later…

So glad Bluesky is cracking down on impersonators and parody accounts. NOTE: Since no one can prove God is real, I am therefore not an impersonation or a parody. Hi, I’m God.

Goodness what an email to get. Just shows that talking about something you’re passionate about online, whether it’s skeeting or making a youtube video, really can impact the way people think. This nice person went on to explain the process after today’s vote: It’s far from a done deal #AssistedDying

An email that reads: Hi Rohin
I'm a staffer to a Member of Parliament, who has been one of the less vocal supporters of the assisted dying Bill due to fear of being shouted down by those against.

It was your video published a year ago that I suggested he watch that made him advocate for this, and to express support vocally- because too many people on the side in favour were and remain effectively silent except for how they vote. So you can say that your video did in fact change minds in the corridors of power.

One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election. Put aside the convo of whether it’s “good” or “bad” for a moment. The far right has devoted enormous resources + time to building echo chambers & loathes spaces they don’t control

I’m one of the few Dems in NYC who even RUNS a general election campaign, and the only one who ran a robust field op. We ran ahead of top of the ticket. Excellence matters. A lot of folks w/ poor campaign fundamentals are now blaming “wokism” but haven’t held a town hall or knocked a door all cycle
