Related to knowing how to talk about art, but I clock a lot of irreverence and self-deprecation over one's art as a mask for being embarrassed at feeling too strongly or a piece feeling too vulnerable. Feelings are tough! But I want people to honor their own work and see their full vision realized

Comparison really do be the thief of joy sometimes. I love how it looks in the layers, but the art itself? I did really well not comparing myself to others for the last year, and lately it's come up a lot. Need to remind myself I'm just a year into taking my art more seriously.

One of the things I like to do every year is draw a goldfish to see where I'm at art wise. My partner suggested a larval tripod fish, and I was like, let's go! Transparent creatures are always a challenge. I'm really happy with how this came out! #myart #disabledartist

Happy Pride! Just a bit of #eyestrain but pretty happy with how this came out. My fabulous mothman tattoo has been reduced to blobby Mothman, but that's alright. And I kept my periorbital mask because if I'm gonna do pride art, might as well do it right! #disabledartist
