It’s a good thing Congress isn’t alive to see this

Utter nonsense. What's left to say that's positive for the people who voted for this? Crimes, bigotry, and moral repugnance are what we offer. More and more with every day.

I saw a wild offer on Facebook Marketplace. I've never had a Facebook but I decided to make one for that. Got asked to do a captcha thing and show my face on webcam and look in different angles. It said that was under review. I got an email: My account had been permanently suspended & deactivated.

Walz: If you say you love freedom but you don't believe freedom is for everybody, then the thing you love is not freedom, it is privilege.

Ashley Johnson singing at the end of today's TLOU episode was a great touch.

I worked at a chain retailer that got bought by several entities who went in together on it. They bought it for the stated purpose of selling the merchandise it had in stock in a fire sale, making more than the bankruptcy price they paid for it. Feels a little like that in the US right now.

I've got the bones of a pun in my head. Something about collaborative songwriting and the phrase "comparing notes" 🎵 I don't know. You do something with it.

In the N64 days, you could tell what friends to trust when they didn't screen-look where you were on the map in a multiplayer game. Sharing the same CRT was a special thing.

Yaiba is animated so beautifully. Can't recommend it enough, if even just as an animation study. Go watch it!

One of the reasons we switched to touchscreen keyboards was the promise of being able to put anything on those screens. UI can be anything! Less hardware waste/custom manufacturing! But our tech looks like shit, all apps are busted anyway & people still buy new phones every year. GIMME BUTTONS!

Just wondering: Has anyone EVER needed the Windows start bar to be their internet search?? The amount of times I type in a word that's in a program name, have it initially show the app icon but when I click, it's changed and I'm doing a search for "encoder" instead of opening Media Encoder...
