Officially published! 🧬🦠 What if more phages didn't mean more death? We show that even strictly lytic phages can stabilize host populations via persistent, episomal infections (often referred to as pseudolysogeny). It's time to move beyond the lysis/lysogeny binary. #phagesky #microsky
