For my 7th entry for GEARTOBER, I offer: A Corp Standard English Style Harness Whereas the standard bulldog harness is more suited to masculine anatomy, the English Style/Y-harness is more suited to Feminine anatomy (yes we have femme drones too!), anyone can enjoy this classic harness though!

Now for something completely different! Entry 6 of GEARTOBER is: The Corp Standard Bulldog Style Harness A classic harness style, and certainly the most common within the corp. They're primarily used to affix drone gas tanks to drone's backs. Some non-drone subjects wear them for looks & for play.

Rubber bulldog style harness with rubber safe buckles tying it all together. Based off of my leather harness with additional flourishes

thank you!! so far its been alot of fun, but also its been great drawing practice. I'm forcing myself to understand how the gear should look and work. For instance, the harnesses Im working on forced me to understand how buckles should look and work, where in the past i might've just guessed it, heh

BTW! My next 4 entries for geartober are going to be types of harnesses. Then after those, I'm doing either gasmasks/headgear or suits/clothing. Unsure of which order I want to do them in. The gas masks are gonna be challenging!

I had @ricotheorc.bsky.social draw Penumbra as an orc for Orctober! I love it so much, i can even see a little bit of my human self in them. Love that we went for the suit peeling off, revealing the bioslime underneath ;) One has to imagine orc penumbra would be even more brutish and domineering?

Ive had an idea for corp truckers for a long time, I always imagined them wearing some kind of boots like these paired with cut jeans and ripped flannels.. ya know, that kind of trucker look. Perhaps I need to draw a raunchy truckstop scene involving these boots <_<

On to day 5 of GEARTOBER, and my last boot entry: Leather Harness Boots The first geartober entry made of leather, these boots were designed to be Penumbra's Ideal leather boot. They are issued to corp truckers, with a look of ruggedness, intimidation and classic trucker style... *huffs a boot*

Now, on to entry 4 of GEARTOBER: Hip Boots! Who doesnt like a tall boot? These are basically hip height waders, and worn by subjects that need to work in standing water and mud. (Waders bibs are used for deeper water). I want a pair of my own someday! Based on my rain boots, but extended ;)

I bought a pair of these toe shoes off a friend, I thought it'd be really neat to turn them into some kind of boot. my initial thought was that it'd be a joke entry, but it ended up being one way hotter than i thought and now its an actual part of the corp

And here we have my 2nd entry of GEARTOBER: Tabi Boots! Perfect for mucking about in wet areas and built for keeping its wearers steps silent~ i've long had an interest in these style of boots, and hope to get some of my own soon. More in Alt Text and Reply:

Tabi Boots! comes in either a rubber or neoprene. Here is a diagram that shows the different parts of those boots, they are meant to be worn skintight around the body. The toes on the boot our split at the big toe, with the rest being grouped together. I'm glad to finally include them.

I've limited myself to a maximum of 1-2hrs per entry because I need this to be sane, so there's minimal rendering of the materials. However, the materials of the gear is called out in the specs! This is a great art challenge because it forces me to define what my gear looks like and explore ideas!

It's the 1st of October! And thus, GEARTOBER begins! For each day this month (or a few days a week) I'll be posting some gear that you can find within the Corp! The first few days i'll be focussing on boots. So, here is my 1st entry: The Standard Issue Penumbra Corp Boot! Read Alt Text for more!

Penumbra Corp Standard Issue Boot, typically made of rubber and part of every corp subject's wardrobe (even the boss)

Built for comfort and long wear, this boot will do the job.

These are based off of my doc marten pull on boots, i'll be using plenty of real world references for alot of these entries because of course penumbra would want gear in styles he likes with his own flair upon them!

there's so much more I'd love to say about this, but here's the idea, master penumbra loves to get into situations where he can experience hypnotic submission in all kinds of ways.

In this case, he is dressed up as a rubber gargoyle, covered in stone colored latex, he is crouching down with rubber wings behind him

, he has spirals in his eyes showing that he has hypnotized. it is implied that someone has done this to him, and install installed hypnotic triggers within him that makes him stay still

Made a few too many enemies in my past, just trying to be more positive and pleasant nowadays. In alot of ways I'm still learning who I am, and thankfully lashing out less as time has gone on. Life never quite slows down for us to figure things out, but the effort to catch up is worth it.
