Had a really long talk today with someone I thought was a twat but it turns out they're a decent human being and it's all just been misunderstandings and talking past each other. What a pleasant surprise ^^

SRC changed their terms of use yesterday, and released a news post with an FAQ. They make it sound like not a big deal. It's a big deal. The Creative Commons licence is gone. They claim ownership over the data now. Thread about what this means, and what we can do about it 🧵

Comparison of the old src terms and the new src terms

im sure it was a decent way to do things 20+ years ago but with global warming being a thing we really should start getting acs. the only places that have them are big hotels with international travellers that expect it to be there

it's that time of the year where I replace the hobby I spend all my time thinking about with another equally addictive hobby. it's like my brain cycles between 3-4 different things perpetually btw, totally unrelated, wow Sekiro speedruns are fun ^^

starting up runs with the new blindfolded route in about an hour. wr is very doable as the new route saves 8mins over the old one. let's get the reccy twitch.tv/pennek

010

Pennek @pennek.bsky.social · 09/07/2025

requires a full reroute of the game but honestly routing is the most fun part anyways so I don't mind it. motivation's back on the menu

Pennek @pennek.bsky.social · 09/07/2025

yoooo i found a 2 1/2min timesave for blindfolded Elden Ring and it actually makes the run less ass. I can't believe it, I thought the category was doomed to get worse over time
