I put in 30+ hours for the Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World demo so far. Mostly figuring out as many monster combinations as possible before transferring my top 8 at launch. Hunter Mech, Cannibox, Dessert Demon, Urnexpected, Gold Golem, Napir, Hellbound Horror, and Warhog are my line-up.

Wait until you get around to playing Person of Lordly Caliber for the N64. That is 1 in a handful of games I consider to have on an isolated island. So many options and choices. Only difference is that it does not have the original creator involved because FFT and Vagrant Story at the time.

I did Cyclops from Xmen this year for Halloween. This was the most challenging costume to put together yet. I'm very proud of how well this all came together. Wiring the visor to light up with a pushbutton was the funnest part during this over 2 month project😎

After taking a backseat from fighting games for a while, I'm fine with never competing in a major event again. RPGs and personal projects have filled the void while mitigating stress. I still enjoy playing FGs with people, but casually now. There are more important places to grow in life is all.

Finally, someone I know has actually touched this game. Over 20 years ago, my brother and I played the translated rom because we were so far down the Chrono series rabbit hole back then. This was our first interactive novel we ever played. Radical Dreamers is wild, goofy, and serious all-at-once.

I can't believe I have slept on the Gaogaigar anime for so long. Highly highly highly recommend giving this series a watch. I'm only 10 episodes in, but you can see so many similarities that Gurren Lagann adopted from Gaogaigar. One of the peak 90s hype giant robot anime for sure.

There was some challenge with the endgame area, but not as stressful compared to a regular playthrough where you had to grind in order to survive. The most trouble was the 2-headed dragon because of its insane physical damage. Everything else is easily manageable as long as you have a healer.

I played Final Fantasy 3 Pixel Remaster while work was slow last night. Using the x4 multiplier for EXP, Gil, and Job Class points, I beat the game fully within a little over 8 hours. Extra time is from working on the bestiary. The Ikari Warriors team completely bypassed job gimmick boss fights🤌

I will say that the tactics megaten games for SNES are extremely mid. They have some bangers when it comes to music. SMT 2 and SMT If are really good starts. The remake of Megami Tensei 2 on Super Famicom is also good. Pretty sure the remake is "Kyūyaku Megami Tensei." Comes with 1 and 2.

The Toledo Local this past Saturday playing CotW sets was fun. No care about wins. Just having fun and learning. It had been a while since I had a good time at a local. I'm hopeful that people will stick with the new Fatal Fury, despite some of the creative choices made for that game.
