Penk @penk.bsky.social · 3hA staple with a lot of Northern stews. I've never been a fan but will have loads of pickled red cabbage instead. 120
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 3hThey are indeed splendid. I haven't had the opportunity to go back since my first visit. 010
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 5hShe'd pop that open in no time. She does massive, forceful stretches all the time. Like the downward dog yoga thing, if that's what it's called. She burst the internal and external stitches. They didn't charge to redo them this time. 010
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026He's a lot posher than he lets on. Well, he can talk properly. For the first 4 pints, that is. 000
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I loved Chas and Dave as a kid and got into them again a few years ago. Absolutely sensational musicians. I did a gig with Chas while Dave was on a hiatus. We watched a World Cup game in the dressing room and then I stood next to him while he played. He's unbelievably good. Lovely man. 030
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I can't be arsed with chatting football with most people these days. Everyone else is wrong anyway. 110
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026There's an old chap in Hot Fuzz that reminds me of the older boys around here. Just mumbles, oohs and aaars. 100
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026They're still going. I've nearly giggled with them a few times. We shared top billing at a festival one weekend but they were Friday and we were Saturday. 210
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026That happens with every club. Wiganers were always falling out on Twitter. There's only about 10 of us on here regularly and I'm amazed we've not had anyone call another a nonce yet. 210
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026These people are all the same. I had 3 old people talking Wurzel at me today and I couldn't understand them. Anybody outside of the towns or over 65 sounds the same around here. 220

Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I've tried to adapt but having raw carrots all day and a poached rabbit for tea is not for me. Chewing straw gives me wind as well. 110
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I'm merely sympathetic to Everton. I've been to Goodison once in my life and that was for Brazil v Japan. 110
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I did for just over half of my life. I'm in South Wiltshire now, you filthy northern swine. 310
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026It was 22 years ago and I was helping train out an IT update for a life insurance firm. 🤓 One of my trainees walked into our hotel with a big bag of weed and threw it on the table and said "I got your stuff. Just buy me a beer" - in front of all my managers. 110
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026It was 22 years ago so it's changed massively. It had grown a load in the few years before we went. It may not appeal to seasoned travellers but I'd never left Europe before then so it was mind blowing. 010
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I spent 2 months in Pune. That's how I ended up living down here. Pune isn't far from Mumbai (a few hours drive but not far in India). Went through Mumbai a few times and had a long weekend in Goa. We've always intended to go back. Kerala is top of the list. 310
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Thought I'd make Mrs P some of her favourites for tea as the kids wanted some council food. I started plating up and she buggered off to fat club. Dried sea bass and soggy potatoes for her. 140

Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I should clarify that he had an amputation, it got infected and he had to have more removed. He never had 2 tails. 130
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I'm waiting for the itemised receipt to turn up. I was quoted a maximum of £900 this morning with general anaesthetic. She had local and painkillers so it should be less. Victor had 2 tail amputations 5 years ago for about £1500. 210
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026She's asleep with her eyes open. She does that anyway at times but she's knackered. She seems ok otherwise. I had to lift her in and out of the car. She just flopped on the floor when I lifted her out. 110
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026It is. They didn't have any suspicions and I've scoured the place looking for loose nails or sharp bits. It was about 3 cm and in a straight line when her leg was straight. It had a pocket that went another 3cm under. She never made a sound though. 110
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026It's only so expensive because of the insurance industry as well. Vets got bought out by investment funds because they can inflate all of their prices and insurance has to pay. It's what will happen if the NHS gets privatised. 020
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 06/10/2026A grand for a bum shave, stitches and a bit of brown. A grand! £1,000! Thankfully the insurance will pay us back. If the vets weren't IT illiterate we wouldn't have had to pay at all. 7110

Penk @penk.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I know loads of people like it but it just wasn't for me. There are a lot of popular series that everyone else seems to love but I've never got on with. Succession was 1 episode. 100

Penk @penk.bsky.social · 05/10/2026My eldest was told the other day about apprenticeship degrees and she's keen on that. Might be a good idea. 6 years of shit pay with study but you're in the door then. This one was Mishcon De Reya. I haven't told her yet that it will be 'competitive' for that role. 120
Penk @penk.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Why would you quit boozing in October? I've got a birthday and my anniversary. Also, for those who don't celebrate them, at least 4 weekends. You can't quit in any month with 4 weekends. 000
