I haven't written any music in months, but I finally did something. I was going for something a bit like the results theme from F-Zero. youtu.be/AWABh1SqG1g

Big news for F-Zero GX (credit to bstest4he on twitter): we have found cheat codes to unlock everything in the game, including the elusive gold parts that were previously JP-arcade event locked! Though there are a couple of caveats.

The cheat codes, entered at Customize -> F-Zero Shop, all directions must be performed using the Dpad:

All AX Courses Unlocked: X Y < > Z Z > < Y X Z Z Y Y > > >
Dark Schneider Unlocked: Z Z Z X X X X Y Y < < > > > Y Y
All AX Machines Unlocked: X X < > Y Z Z Y < > X < > Z X > < Y Y

Gold Parts (must be performed with 4 controllers simultaneously):
Thunderstorm parts: X Z Y Z X Z Y X
El Dorado parts: X > X Z Y < < Z
Chrono Symphony parts: < > Z > < X > Z
Bahamut parts: Y Y Z > < Z X Y
Gladiator parts: > Z X < < > Z X

The gold machine parts, previously unavailable outside of participating in JP-exclusive AX events or by hacking

Screw it speaking of this I found this amazing Wikipedia list of CC and PD works uploaded to Wikimedia Commons which includes the Toby Fox photos... just don't look what is directly below that. At least the videos are a treat to watch. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikiped...

They say a picture says a thousand words; these say only one: ouch.

A screenshot of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the New Pork City stage in which Ness from EarthBound is facing the camera with his mouth open, and Lucas from Mother 3 is to his right, holding a stick and about to swing it.

The stick clips inside Ness, and he has his eyes and mouth wide open in what can only be descrbed as agony. Ouch.

I finally finished Ocarina of Time a couple of days ago! I previously didn't get past Dodongo's Cavern, but I would progress a bit more each year for the past 3 years. I also spent a lot of time running around, doing whatever I felt like doing instead of doing the dungeons. It's a wonderful game.

I think this looks amazing! The next two months will either go really quickly or painfully slowly. I'm so excited! I should finish the original game, first.

There's so much misinformation about Lesbian Space Princess and it's making me sad as it's a good movie. Many are claiming that it's transphobic, and I want to respond and say that's not the case, but I'm afraid of them not understanding and calling me transphobic (despite being trans myself). :(

I've been seeing a ridiculous amount of dog piling against 'Lesbian Space Princess' online & all it's doing is making me want to watch the movie in order to spite the haters. We really gotta discourage such hostile behaviour towards queer cartoons by queer creators. youtu.be/e0bxafZFhl0?...

I just found out that hating Lesbian Space Princess is a meme now despite it being almost a year old. I saw it when it was new and it's genuinely really good. You don't have to be queer to like it; my cis-het family members loved it, too. This must be hard for the creators of it. The Internet sucks.

I don't know what Niko's doing, but it sure gave Matt a fright.

A close up of Niko from OneShot in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream shining a torch on their face with their eyes and mouth wide open. So scary.

The id Vault that was just added to Quake's remaster even has playable maps?! There's even a (unfinished) remake of E1M5 from Doom. That's so cool!

The new colours look way better than red; I especially like the Game Boy ones. I cropped the screenshots then scaled them up. Zero Racers is a lot of fun, but the lack of music during races is a bit strange to me. I haven't played much of Dragon Hopper yet but I'm really enjoying it so far.

This happened once when the Switch 2 switched to HDR. The pixels merged together into diagonal segments or something? My phone uses really ugly upscaling that can't be disabled so it didn't actually look quite this bad. It fixed itself when I disconnected and reconnected the HDMI cable.

Really? I misspelt something in my first post here? Well, OK, "impratical" is kind of funny.
