PSA: The latest NVIDIA App update adds a Default-ON option that allows AI Agents to control the app... Might want to turn it off.. Even aside from being lame AI features, that feels like making security even worse by defaulting it ON.

The dilemma… do I buy a switch 2 for OOT and immediately sell it as soon as I am done with it? Or do I wait for the PC community to decomp the game 🤔🤔🤔 I literally don’t want a switch 2 for anything else. My switch 1 is a paperweight.

That is definitely true. I was only messing with it when I was furloughed during the pandemic. I feel like if you want to rly draw ppl in it has to look modern in the way Expedition 33 did. Theres so many indie turn based rpgs with pixel graphics its hard to break through.

I used to use RPGMaker. Its really easy to use and theres a bunch of tutorials online if you want to do some more complex things. I really liked it, but I never finished any of my projects. It was mainly something I was doing for fun anyway.

Review scores for a game are absolutely worthless to me. I am confident enough in my own ability to judge if a game is worth my time or not. I see ppl get caught up in what these journalists and youtubers think. It can be an interesting topic of convo, but also… fuck em. Play what you want.

We are also flooded with options, which is both a good and a bad thing. While we have more variety and choices than ever, I do miss the days where buying a game felt more special. I remember the excitement of reading the instruction manual in the car on the way home. That excitement no longer exists

This was my first console. I still have it and it still works! This is the only console I feel a true attachment to. I will likely sell all my playstations, my wii, xbox 360, etc but I will never give up my N64.

There are 2 games I really struggled with and that is Outlast 2 and Alien Isolation. The games where you are outmatched and your only options are to hide and run are the hardest for me.

I submitted a support ticket and was told I will likely get a response by THURSDAY. I decided to purchase through Native because it has been simple up until this point, but now I am seriously reconsidering buying from NI if stuff like this is going to happen. If I never touched it it would be fine.

Welp I had a spark of inspiration so I ended up buying a new plugin from Native Instruments so I could boot up Ableton and start composing. Then Native Access had to update and when it did I lost access to my ENTIRE library including all my Kontakt Instruments.

Unfortunately this will not deter many people because of how mainstream fortnite is. It is almost exclusively played by people who don’t pay attention to anything outside their own personal comfort bubble. We are headed down a dangerous road where games AI slop games will become normalized.

I don’t think I have ever felt this. Or at least I haven’t noticed it. Any specific examples come to mind? I know people tend to bring up yellow paint but I was never particularly bothered by that.
