The labeling service has always openly stated that it supports Zionism, Israel and Ukraine, and focuses on account labeling. Unlabeling a vocally anti-Israel account misses the point, which is that other users should not have to review the entire account to know its character.

Correct, which is why all links to content from 'russia today' get a real-time 'disinfo-link' label. Does that mean you are a disinfo spreader? No, you would have an account-level 'disinfo' label if so. A perfect example of legitimate citation of a toxic source by a well-intentioned account.

It's not a false positive. Many people wrongly assume every label for a link is a personal critique. Sometimes it is, it depends on the context. In those cases one mor more labels will almost always eventually bubble up to the account.

No account has more than 79 active reports. Again that comes down over time as I work through them. Some of these are inactive or deleted by platform. I deliberately focus more on recent activity, because combating virality of nonsense was the primary goal.

I'm now reviewing real-time 'recently-seen' accounts with a backlog of >= 20 auto- and manual reports. This threshold comes down as more accounts get labeled and added to the Soft_Deleted list. After that, they don't appear in my feed any more.

Many labels are automated. It's only account-level labeling that needs manual review. Since we now have over a year of firehose tracking, that's usually trivial. How often do you need to see someone say "NATO made russia attack Ukraine" or "death to Israel" to label them and ignore going forward?

Only @moderation.bsky.app can delete accounts homed on Bluesky's servers. Since I don't run a private server, I cannot take down accounts. These are the ones that would be taken down if I did. The possible reasons for adding any given account vary.
