I just shrunk the rooms in my game. Why? I initially sized the rooms that way so they could feel like a Doom map, but I realized my game isn’t a shooter but a dungeon crawler so I made them twice big than a Binding of Isaac room. #indiegame #indiedev #solodev #gamedev #godot

Ok, so, long story short: the radio of my game, the one that allows you to get inside vortexes to get gear or ingredients, uses audio clips to give you real radio feeling… turns out I need to change those audio tracks because the songs in them have copyright.

I had a dream last night: my game was played by a popular YouTuber, the game wasn’t finished but he unlocked a lot of achievements. I felt proud of my work… then I woke and realized that my game was more raw than the one in my dream… also, my game doesn’t have achievements.

You might think making characters is easy… well, ITS NOT, it’s a process: moodboard > sketch > concept art > final design > making the character (2D sprites of 3D model). But in my case it’s worse, I’m making digitalization, so I have to transform the 3D model into sprites.
