With Claude Code becoming more expensive and more limited by the day it's time to investigate alternatives. I'm a big fan of the team behind Kilo since Day 1. Turns out they have a CLI and since it's based on OpenCode I can straight up plug it in Pedram Amini's Maestro. Let's GOO!

If you're transcribing audio on Apple Silicon, whisperkit-cli is easily 100x faster than whisper. I spent the past few minutes debugging what I assumed was a failed migration from one tool to the other in my YouTube ingestion pipeline, no, it's just that fast.

I (ab)used some Vibe Coding to knock out intelligent ingestion of my RSS / Podcasts into Obsidian. Next step was adding Twitter, but they want $200/mo for the most basic API access. @hdm.io convinced me that Twitter is all but dead and I will find my content here so I've become the transformation.
