I’ve had several things arrive with significant delays through USPS lately. Thankfully my area has drop boxes around town to leave ballots and offers early voting for several weeks prior to elections. This helps to insure everyone has a chance to vote. But I would not mail a ballot.

And infants too young for the vaccine are at high risk. The choices of others are affecting them. They rely on herd immunity. Become part of the herd. Vaccinated on time based on the AAP guidelines.

All the kids getting measles these days are at risk of neurologically deteriorating and dying years after seeming to recover. If only there was a safe way to prevent this… [There is. Well meaning parents are simply choosing to avoid the prevention.]

Teens with ADHD often complain that they feel left out or that they don’t have friends. Parents can help guide them to use social skills and regulate emotions before they lose control to help them feel like they fit in better without masking who they really are.

This increases cost of healthcare and takes away resources that could be spent elsewhere. It's not that I don't want to see patients. If they don't need my help but I'm taking time to see them and fill out FMLA forms or write work/school notes, there's another who really needs help but has to wait.

For so many reasons, yes. There are far too many people - kids and adults - who go to the doctor for the sole purpose of a note for school or work. They know it's a virus and what home remedies are recommended. They do not need advice, tests, or a script. They just need a note.

FMLA paperwork is not appropriate for parents with sick kids. It’s impossible to fill out. If I had a crystal ball, I’d play the lottery. As it is, I don’t know how to answer the questions.

This is exactly how I see it. MAGA will have a stronger voice, their followers will dig in deeper. And if we're forced to watch it to get news at all because other news is shut down they will infect new brains because people will start to believe what they see, even if they think it might be biased.

There’s no quick fix. Prevention is best. We have the tools but don’t always use them, which leads to regret and the demand for a quick cure.

What exactly can an executive order mean if it cannot be fulfilled? There are no separate measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines. We cannot separate out the MMR, nor is there any reason to based on large well done studies showing safety and efficacy of the MMR. But will we be forced to give nothing?

I don’t know of courses like this for adults. It’s often hard to find a therapist or coach that understands ADHD well. The book “ADHD is Awesome “ is an easy but helpful read.
