It feels sadder than it should since she lived such an important and inpactful life and reached the venerable age of 92. I wish she hadn’t died during this time of despicable attacks on women and their rights. I do believe better days are ahead.

Today we took the puppy to go swimming in the river and there were 4 eagles fishing the entire time. They would dive into the water and come up with a shiny silver fish and take the fish over to the railroad tracks to eat and then fish some more. It was magical.

I had to show up for jury duty. I was near the end of my book so I brought another book and an emergency book. The security guy thought my bag was heavy and asked if I had a gun so I explained about the books. He gave me an incredulous look and asked again if I was trying to bring a gun to court.

You’re missing out. Bob’s made so many good albums after the 70’s. Listen to “High Water (For Charley Patton)” as a fun place to jump into hid post 70’s work. I love it when he sings about his “hopped up mustang ford”.
