Definitely a better Dec 7 than in 1941, the day that lives in infamy. Very pleasant calm day in Santurce where Christmas is much subdued, ICE took away our Dominicans.

Committee for the First Amendment, statement in 1947. powerful stuff. Look at the absence of Ronald Reagan, for example.

Statement by the Committee for the First Amendment, including Henry Fonda, Katharine Hepburn, Gregory Peck, Burgess Meredith, Vincent Price, Ava Gardner.

No Kings Rally at Independence Hall winding up. Those left are marching to EPA.

Capitolio. Ocean side. 3pm today. If you are in PR, please join us. I will be hanging out with my friends from Madres Contra La Guerra, carrying an Amnesty International sign.

This is Roger. He lives in the tiny jungle next to the Condado Lagoon. He sits with me when I do my Spanish lessons, early on, he learned to come when I whistle. He loves being stroked. I first saw him as a tiny kitten in Dec 2023. He is lovely.

Flag showing support for Ukraine by Amnesty International USA. Just got this now from annual meeting in Detroit. David Rendell, area coordinator for NJ and PA, in yellow, sent it. #SaveUkraine

Here is the front of the Capitol, and their view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Not sure why I am sideways. Shots from the back, where statues of presidents are on sidewalks behind parked cars

I am at the Capitol in San Juan. Very quiet. I may be the only protester. That's ok, glad to do this for everyone.

Last May UPR students camped out to protest UPR support of weapons companies providing lethal force that resulted in ongoing destruction of Palestine and genocide of population. I sat in a ceiba tree and drew them. Here is the picture, sitting in that ceiba tree. #HelpPalestine #HelpUkraine

I believe every human has the right to live in peace with the ability to take care of their needs, and those of others who cannot take care of themselves. The basis of all religions, theist and nontheist. No space for AIPAC, or MAGA. #AmnestyInternational celebrates Human Rights Day December 10.

Bird flu sucks. What did I expect, 4 days of jammed crowds in San Sebastian fiesta. Getting away from the crowds on Sunday to El Morro, I watched little boys play football, and the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean.

Not that I am boasting but this is Roger with golden eyes. He lives in a tiny PR jungle, and sits next to me when I do my Spanish language lesson in the lagoon park in Condado.
