Has anyone heard a word about the 4 US soldiers killed in Lithuania during a NATO training exercise on Tuesday? I can’t understand why this hasn’t hit the news.

It is official, as far as I can tell, that President Biden finally issued clemency to political prisoner Leonard Peltier. I am so grateful. I pray for Leonard and all his loved ones. He is very ill with diabetes, so I hope he will be able to live a long time.

fancy clothes, settings - one thing, but some of us like a relaxed pose better - as you are, or as one might find you - more natural - perhaps catching a glimpse of pages of mystery, of untold stories. (c) Pleasant Meadow, 12.13.24 Photo: Tim Whitby, 12/24 #JohnnyDepp #poems #freeverse

Death by Confetti by artist Johnny Depp. Johnny said, “It began with them applauding me and accepting me, then came the celebration parade, the confetti. But suddenly, some years later I realized I was choking.” (Photo is yours truly in NYC at exhibition A Bunch of Stuff)

So I agreed to go with my husband to see Gladiator II just to be nice. I really wasn’t excited about it. We got to the theater, and I went to buy the tickets, but I drew a blank. I was so embarrassed. I said, “I can’t remember the name of the movie, but it starts with G!”

I love this idea that Biden pardoning Hunter will somehow ‘justify’ or ‘excuse’ Trump pardoning the Jan 6th prisoners, ignoring the fact that: 1. Trump had promised to pardon them long before Biden did this. 2. There is nothing comparable between Hunter’s crimes & their crimes.
