Clearly pissed, he ended the set with the song “Jack U Off,” where the last line was “You can jack me off!” He dumped his guitar and stormed out.

I was at that concert, sitting on the grass close to the stage. My friend and I thought Prince was awesome, but we were in the minority. Several troglodytes were booing and throwing bottles at him.

Color ad for Shatner suit collection at JC Penney. Bill is looking penetratingly into the camera wearing a tan suit. The jacket is long and buttonless, with a Nehru-style collar and a vertical strip of what appears to be leather on each side of the jacket front. He has a black shirt beneath and a large brass buckle on his belt. The text reads: “Boldly GO... in Style! Step into the 23rd century with clothing that's out of this world. Color photo of a smiling nude Suzanne Somers, seen from the waist up. Her arms are raised and draped across the top of her head, which is tilted slightly. On her chest is a large image transfer with a rainbow colored wave and a small waterskier. The words “right on” appear in cartoonish green lettering at the bottom.

I did manage to convince them to let me have the giant promotional poster with Steve Martin dressed like King Tut. Still have that. And my best friend’s mom bought the gift certificate from us.

Oh shoot, that store name has been burned into my memory since Junior High School. They had a contest for Steve Martin concert tickets in 1978 and I filled out HUNDREDS of entry forms to try and win. We won second prize, which was a $50 gift Clothestime gift certificate.

Thanks Jason! Found a few mentions on the site. Jack Eskew came up as a possible member, there was a partial article about Tina that mentions a husband Phil who performed at Disneyland, and Jeannie Volk. Also a close-up pic of some of the Mustangs.

Hey, do you know anything about the Disneyland Mustangs? There are a few clips of them performing on the 1967 New Year’s Eve record. Last time I checked, there were multiple groups named the Mustangs, and I wasn’t able to find out who the members were.

The Disney short “Pigs is Pigs” is the same concept as Star Trek’s “The Trouble With Tribbles.” But episode writer David Gerrold was inspired by Robert Heinlein’s Martian Flatcats in Heinlein’s novel, “The Rolling Stones.” Who inspired Heinlein? Ellis Parker Butler, author of “Pigs is Pigs.” 😁

Skateboard deck art Source: asenpetrov

Wooden skateboard deck with illustration art of a naked woman. Primarily black and white line drawing with red accents. She is facing away with a small red heart on one butt cheek, but her upper body is turned so that you can see her face and torso. She has long black curly hair with a beehive-like height that cascades and obscures her eyes, then falls to her lower back. A flower-shaped barrette with a red center is above her exposed ear. Her right arm is held up to her mouth and one finger touches her lips.

Black and white photo showing a close-up of what looks like a watch on a hairy wrist, but is in fact a camera. It is silver metal with a textured circular face and multiple circular parts. A small lens is seen at the top, with shutter release and other dials below. A small clasp on the left appears to be the unlocking mechanism to release the film reel, and it is etched at the bottom with the words “Steineck A-B-C”
