Great game of 40K tonight at the club, first time using a Lord of Skulls and it didn’t disappoint

One thing that is under rated about being a Warhammer dad is the amount of tools and skills at your disposable to fix broken kids’ toys. Like, “yes Jim, I’ve built an Ork Stompa with no instructions, of course I can fix your plastic doctors toys.” “Hello broken cheap plastic toy, meet UV resin.”

While I think Expedition 33 was the best game I played this year, the most played game of 2025 was Persona 5 Royal which was another absolute banger - probably going to replay both in 2026 #PS5 #Playstation #Persona5Royal

Side-by-side of Cypher from when I first did him when the new version of the model dropped in 2017 compared with the one I finished recently. Makes me realise my painting has actually come a long way. #WarhammerCommunity #Nerdlings

Cryptic Cabin October challenge box has arrived. Three awesome P3 paints, two nice brushes and a cool Orc model that I’ve not seen before. Got a solid five weeks to do something fun with them. Looking forward to seeing all the other attempts too!

Props to GW customer support. Ordered a box of carnifexes and they arrived missing one of the weapon sprues so let them know and they just immediately send out a replacement no questions asked. Rarely needed to go to them over the years, but whenever I have done they’ve been top notch.

Do any friends in #WarhammerCommunity #Nerdlings know of an app that is good for keeping an inventory of paints owned? Thinking it would be good to have some kind of resource that tracks what I’ve got from different brands as I often forget and it’s a pain having to go check the racks each time.

Literally half an hour into the first game of the premier league season and looks like a player has been racially abused already. Absolutely disgusting stuff, hope Liverpool staff find and eject the fan and he faces punishment.

Seen this bullshit poll running on Imperium of Man FB group has genuinely pissed me off. Like, let’s have a public dragging of all the amazing authors who have contributed to Black Library over the years because that’ll be great for growing and sharing the hobby… It’s just so unnecessarily toxic

Patrick Ball @pdball1992.bsky.social · 12/05/2025

Literally just had Reform back at my door again and still no sign of any other parties trying to canvas the area. At least this time, I was there to tell them that they’re a bunch of racist scum and chuck the leaflets back at them. Each and every one of them can get in the bin.

170

Patrick Ball @pdball1992.bsky.social · 11/05/2025

By-election coming up on Thursday to elect a new councillor and the only leaflet I’ve had through the door is from the scumbags at Reform. I’d never vote for the racist party to save my life so it would be nice if other parties actually tried to win votes instead.

Got a Defiler for my Night Lords army as it was the centrepiece (and only vehicle) in my old Night Lords army from when I was 15. Decided it needed a base though as they’re a pain to keep standing or move around a game board if the legs are left movable. #WarhammerCommunity #Nerdlings
