almost certain that i learned about "born a worm" from @tef.bsky.social and am chuffed that this themed bumper sticker parked outside where i live
bumper sticker that has "born a worm" in bold green letters and under it "spins a cocoon/goes to sleep/wakes up a butterfly/what the f*ck is that about" with a black and white butterfly to the right, and "dan reeder" in slightly smaller bold green letters centered to the right of the butterfly

the launch that was carrying the lunar laser communications demonstration payload in 2013 also gave us the frog photo

The second part is divided into three sections, with the leftmost section featuring the words "1 time" to the right of a masculine presenting figure outline. the middle, a cpu with "10^60 times" written above it, and the rightmost section with the words "1 time" to the left of a feminine presenting figure outline.

i feel like $149k in portland oregon could go a long way in showing kids the joy of creating written and drawn work. instead administrators at portland public schools have decided to spend $149k on... colin kapernick's ai company?
"The $150,000 threshold has already been called into question this fall amid pushback from the Portland Association of Teachers and others over a just-below-the-threshold contract for LumiStory AI, an artificial intelligence firm started by former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Under the terms of that $149,000 contract, about 4,100 students across nine schools will pilot Lumi’s platform, which allows students to work with an AI-powered chatbot to create their own stories and comic books."

this scrambled egg, feta, tomato, arugula, bacon on brioche was a regular staple in my life, given it being less than a minute from where i lived. the cold brew hits too.
above described sandwich, on a teal plate, from 3 little figs (somerville, ma)

there are many things i love about living in portland oregon, but one thing i miss about the east coast is the ubiquity of good breakfast sandwiches under 10 bucks.
a sausage egg and cheese with hash brown on a Portuguese bun from archie’s ny deli. a george howell cold brew sits to the right of the sandwich on a wax paper wrapper. there are a couple empty chairs in the background.

there are good trees in portland
it’s dusk - almost 9pm. a tree has an LED streetlight behind it, illuminating the street and the houses across from it, but casting a shadow of the tree towards the photographer.

if your left hand ever gets this big, one job opportunity you could have is to stop some packages from being loaded on to passenger aircraft
an orange sticker on a box that features a plane with a person in an aircraft cargo hold. the person is saying "cargo aircraft only" and a giant hand is off the person. theres a pallet jack with forbidden packages outside the plane. the person's hand is like comically large (that's the joke). the bottom of the sticker says "forbidden in passenger aircraft."

incredible light in the bay window on a cloudy day, buying a table for it was a good idea
it's me, trying to laugh right before the photo booth app takes the photo. there's a window with the shades drawn to the left of the photo. the top of a chair that is teal is in the lower left hand corner, with a lampshade above it, almost above my shoulder. there's a blue print framed in a green frame above the lamp. and a window with the shades open on the right of the photo.
