MultiPSK is indeed a great piece of software. It is one of the reasons I still have a Windows PC and laptop. The interface is certainly unusual, but I’m happy to overlook that.

And 4 days ago on 11,348 kHz. The antenna is a T2FD, the Diamond WD330S. Receiver is the FTdx10 and the decoder is MultiPSK as you will recognize. 😜

I've been decoding HFDL also over the last few days. This is what I've picked up on 8843 over the past 24 hours.

"mine" 😜 has also Receive frequency: 25-2000MHz. I use it also for normal and military airband and marine traffic. Be that the nearby river.... But the 6 M halo could be a better option as it is horizontal.

I am using a Diamond V2000 for that. Cheaper option is the SQBM1000P MkII Triband 6/2/70 Vertical by Moonraker. It seems to be the same antenna configuration. moonrakeronline.com/eu/sqbm1000p...

I would have told her the new clothes-drying rack was ready. And, based on the optimal drying time calculation (wind speed / spin RPM * rack height), this height was best for drying. The most she would say was that she was happy with it but daunted by the climb. Followed by a "Thank you, darling!"

There is also rail via Belarus and Lithuania. Due to sanctions, EU and Lithuania agreed that rail transport of non-sanctioned goods may continue in regulated volumes. Rail transport has decreased significantly. Air transport is used almost exclusively for passengers and high-value/urgent cargo.

Debatable. 😉 There is no definition of QRP other than the general rule that, for CW, it is 5 watts. Exactly where you feed that 5 watts into isn't defined. Unless, of course, we were to redefine QRP in terms of EIRP. Personally, I don't really consider high gain antenna setups to be QRP either.

Kees PC1I @pc1i.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
Conversely, your signal has been "boosted" by the same amount of gain. That said, both could still have done with a few decibels less and still maintained a good connection. 🤗

Kees PC1I @pc1i.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
Given the Yagi the other operator is using, he might have been running less power than you were. He had a 14 dB advantage on you, = EIRP of 125 W. His OptiBeam is 14 dBi on 20. Factoring in his antenna height and ground effect, his actual power output could have been less than 5 watts. 😉

Found it! Your Mark is set to 900 something Hz. That is below the standard freq that MMTTY uses for the peak filter display. Set it to 2125 and you will see de dual peak. I try to find what to do with other Mark settings as they are offered. You just keep contesting. 😜

Check out Geekom, Minisforum, Beelink, AceMagic, and GMKtec. They frequently have special offers. They offer very good mini PCs with AMD Ryzen 5 and 7 processors. Or Intel, if you prefer. I use an AceMagic AM06 in my shack (AMD Ryzen 7 5825U, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD). I paid €329 for it in May 2025.

ZS6BKW in inverted V configuration has been my antenne for many years. But after experiencing more and more man made noise I replaced it with a T2FD (Diamond WD330S). When living in a more noise free environment I guess it would be a ZS6BKW again for me.

Brand was Skol, which generally didn't have a good reputation. Whenever we ran out of coasters, we’d borrow some from other pubs. Suddenly, Heineken or Amstel coasters appeared on one of the three bars. And people would only get their beer at that specific bar, convinced it tasted much better. 2/3

In the 80s, I worked as barkeeper / DJ on the island of Schiermonnikoog at a dance club that was the first in the northern Netherlands to serve beer from tanks. We had six 1,000-liter tanks. In the summer, a tanker truck would come every five days to refill them. 1/3

But ultimately, 90% of the rooftop panels are wired incorrectly, and no one is going to undo that. Then came the EV charging stations. And now we’re heading down the same path with plug-in battery systems. It starts with the products that do not meet the requirements. 2/3

Yes, RDI (was Agentschap Telecom), but it’s not particularly useful. For years, radio amateurs pointed out the sloppy, haphazard work being done, yet hardly anything was done about it. Around 2019, some attention was paid to the issue, and there was a push for stricter adherence to regulations. 1/3

I’m having trouble with a public charging station 120 meters from my house. Whenever a car is plugged into it, I get HF interference all over the place. When the neighbors across the street had their unit installed, I was worried about even more noise, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

There are no Android APKs in the Apple Store. 😜 The CHIRP engine requires direct access to the USB port or Bluetooth serial ports to communicate with radios (such as Baofeng or Quansheng). iOS imposes strict limitations on this type of hardware communication via the Lightning or USB-C port.
