Hey there! No worries at all- I’ve been inconsistently on social media and didn’t check this before my visit. But I had a blast up there. It was a short trip and I was tied to events at UO, but being up there pretty much solidified that I made the right choice.

Got approved for an apartment in Oregon already! Only a 15 min bike ride from UO and IT’S A ONE BEDROOM! I’ve never lived in a one bedroom in LA this is such an upgrade 😭

Hi again. My semester is over! I have emerged from under my rock. Since I’ve been gone: I graduated with my Masters, got accepted to a PhD program (might have already shared that), and booked a trip to Europe, starting Sunday!

Ok guys. Wuthering Heights is truly one of my absolute favorite novels of all periods and genres. I saw the new movie last night, and it was fantastic! Yes- a loose adaptation. Yes- stuff was cut and changed. But I think the important things- the feelings, the melodrama, the passion- were there.

I spent all morning writing a 600 word essay for a teaching fellowship. Then logged on to paste/upload the essay and the requirement was actually 600 CHARACTERS, not words.
