On a flight from Helsinki to JFK and noticed the northern lights while north of Iceland (first time seeing them!). Took my camera out and I'm quite happy with these ~2 second hand-held exposures ✈️🌌

Back in 2009, I wrote one of my earliest Wikipedia articles on Mandazi, a form of fried bread from Eastern Africa. Now that I'm in Kenya for #Wikimania, I finally got to try it for the first time!

Introducing WikiAsteroids, a classic arcade asteroids game powered by real-time #Wikipedia edits! ☄️ asteroids.wiki Each edit on Wikipedia spawns an asteroid. The larger the edit, the larger the asteroid. A newly created article spawns an extra life, while a newly registered user spawns a powerup.
