I’ve been doing printmaking consistently for about 10 years now, but I haven’t spent time around other artists all speaking the same “language” and like this before and it felt amazing and rewarding! I am so excited to SGCI next fall because I’m so close to Pittsburgh and I love the city 🤩!

I’ll post better pics later once I get it all torn down and signed. I’m super happy w/the outcome, but man my core muscles lowkey hurt really bad today from printing…and I hope these folks are ok with a pool toys! 🦌😜

I also tested mixing fluorescent pink powder pigment with tint base and a lil tiny bit of magenta ink to get fluorescent litho ink! I was super nervous how the pigment would react to the water but it printed super well!! 🙌

I hauled ass and finished my prints for a print exchange I got accepted to a few months ago I’m super excited for! 💪 It’s 1 layer of stone litho and 4 silk screen transparent layers on top on handmade pink/peachy paper.

I’m not the type of person to photograph strangers without consent it’s just rude… but I caught two furs hugging at the waterfront at anthrocon this year. It was such an intimate moment… In photoshop I made sure to blur any faces but it’s thankfully it’s even harder to tell in a cmyk halftone 🫂

Thank youu!! I’ve had challenges printing on fabric with it shifting too much between layers, but I used screen printing adhesive and glued it down a sheet of plastic so I could move it around but keep the fabric from moving!

Visiting my folks this weekend I got second hand like SEVERAL yards of this lime green sorta velvety? upholstery-ish sorta fabric I have NO ideas…. I think it would be fun to do something MASSIVE If I can keep it this long (I think it’s basically a bolts worth of fabric 😐)

Like EVERYTHING is expensive and like I’m not unsympathetic kids are a handful but…maybe…maybe…3 adults and 2 children (a like 5 and 1 year old) shouldn’t be living in a tiny 1 bedroom? When there’s literally 2-3 bedroom apartments for the same price or cheaper in the area 🫩

My upstairs neighbors who like to yell really loud and their kid jump off the furniture and run back and fourth for hours a day aren’t home for once….I can’t lie I’m like on edge just waiting for them to come back home. They are by far the WORST rudest neighbors I’ve ever had…
