I hear the NFT death knell once more.. No concessions -- not while corporate slavedrivers continue to operate the slop engine that runs on your livelihood.

There is no greater test for one's lack of worker solidarity & corporate complacency than if a furry buys into the AI propaganda wholesale.
They lack integrity. Lack wisdom. Ignore exploitation. Care only for end product. They would not care if AI companions or hallucinated fursonas came via slave labor. They are also afraid. Victims to watching their spaces become eroded via slop coding. They believe they see the writing on the wall; that a Western Roko's Basilisk won't torment them, and a Chinese Roko's Dragon cannot reach them as long as they buy into the future being sold to them as a means to disrupt & plunder the economy.
They are not our allies. They seek a sense of "Progress" at any cost, being afraid of irrelevance & stagnation. This fear is exploited directly to create an initial userbase then propaganda does its thing to normalize this behavior. It seeps into every corner of your social groups with people simply waiting for you to get it, to be onboarded like they were
Once it becomes a mainstay of your daily life, it becomes another thing you forget how to live without. It becomes another household utility. Alexa. Ring camera. Yet another privatized lever of exploitation to market to you, control you, influence you.
These CEOs saw a cute sorting algorithm that could be plastered with a Markov Chain friendly face and directly plugged the livelihoods of millions of people into the generator hoping you wouldn't notice neighbors inconveniently suffering or dying as a consequence
Don't you get it? This is the future. Aren't you tired of being left out? You're behind. You'll be forgotten, your legacy will be one like the Luddites
You know the Luddites! The unionized labor organizers aghast at the industrial working conditions exploiting eager unsuspecting farmhands & tailors, providing cheap goods at the cost of your neighbor's fingers, or more likely a whole limb - their life. Boy I sure would hate to be compared to labor organizers protecting their neighbors

On a whim after cooking some chicken for work lunches, I decided to dice up an onion and throw it in the empty pan to deglaze it. The onions soaked up the frond, got caramelized and 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀. Seems basic, sure, but I feel it's cool that I "discovered" something cooking related!
