i was able to get them back. i couldn’t take the bird cages or the rabbit pen and the birds are living in travel cages but i have fucking nothing. we literally just moved a few things to the new place and came back the next day to that and i’m a fucking wreck honestly

old landlord changed the locks on me while we were in the middle of moving out. cops wouldn’t do anything, told me it’s a civil matter and to file a report but wouldn’t let me in. my birds and rabbit were all still inside and thank fuck i have animal control connections bc that’s the only reason//

but what really bugs me is he said he hired a cleaning lady on the 30th and like. huh? the pics don’t do much justice but the walls are filthy, all kitchen drawers are grody, the fridge hasn’t been cleaned inside or out, and also a railing post broke off on the stairs and he said he’d fix it before/

i had to send my first dog away yesterday bc i couldn’t get through her legs with a 10 blade. spent an hour shaving her body down but her legs were CASTED and i had to tell the owner she needs a sedated shave from a vet. i did what i could but i wish i did more
