While #ShroomAndGloom is a visually appealing #Deckbuilding #IndieGame, it feels way too ambitious. Trying to balance a combat deck, exploration deck, and RNG card growth at once leads to mechanical bloat and zero fair play balance. Felt zero desire to keep going as cool as it is. Blame EA?

Hey support #Indiegames! However, when people defend poor designs, imbalance, bugs, crashes and optimization issues on the premise of #EarlyAccess, they end up glorifying titles that ultimately fail to deliver or fix said issues. Just because you say it's great, doesn't mean it can't BE better.

#KeysOfFury was quite literally all type and no hype as a very short & limited #IndieGame to the theme of kung-fu fighting. Beat up your enemies to some retro tunes and rap, featuring clunky controls, slowed down combat, and persistent headaches. Loved the #DinoRun cameo, but that's about it

#DepartedAway was a somewhat decent, very short #IndieGame #VisualNovel. Clearly developed by a solo dev who cared about their vision, even if the story was lacking. Short run of it? It's around 1 hour long, taking you on quite the Yandere trip of obsession / narcissism.

Sometimes #EarlyAccess #IndieGames, don't need to improve, don't need all that flair and extra pizzazz. Sometimes your game is fine the way it was originally, and then you go and muck it all up with updates anyways. #RogueGenesia is one such pure Vampire Survivor Clone that got worse over time.

#Asleep in my opinion should never have woke up. Design choices & other elements aside. It felt more like a comedy than a #Horror #IndieGame. Worse, after finishing Act 1, the in-game trailer for Act 2 outright spoiled the entirety of Act 2. Hecc off man! Buggy, inconsistent, & often confusing

#KusanCityOfWolves offers #HotlineMiami and #IndieGame vibes, but leaves you wanting more. The OST clashed, the inspiration felt confining, the story was rushed, and it all seemed limited by its genre. Sick cinematic visuals integrated game play, but it still deserved much more room to breathe.
