Ffxiv really does make me feel truly happy. I need to find ways to play it more until things get better. The people, the stories, everything. It warms my soul even after 12+yrs.

I was in the midst of changing my online alias for art things and figured why not ffxiv too? Needed Snow in it somewhere (my last name) so I used Latin - Nix. Tried a few ideas to flow with it, Pav worked. Pavnix. Aldore was an old OC's last name I was always keen towards. So, Pavnix Aldore. :)

Shoutout to that time I was looking into FC's on #FFXIV and an fc leader replied on discord that "based on the fact you have a bluesky account, I don't think you'd fit in with us." Y'know what fam... prolly right, but I don't think it was the bluesky account that did it. Jfc I just draw things.

Hey! I got some sad health news back on Friday. I'll be okay long term, just a bit to deal with in the moment. All the better to channel my feelings into art soon. ❤️

I forgot to upload it a while back but I did the flats for that comm - it's nearly done, just have to highlight and shade it. That's my bad, it has been super busy here. (Plus a few wildfire warnings.)

FWIW I didn' die I've just sort of been going through it recently lol. Also working on getting a job because I don't have one anymore? So that's a thing.

Pavnix/Cass Snow {Art Comms Open} @pavnix.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

I've sort of hoped I'dcome across someone who says "Yeah just do xyz to affect abc settings!" or who knows both so well I could send a screenie and they'd go "It's this in CSP!" But dang, if the blend works differently my painting brush may be lost... It's a shame because CSP has so many resources!

110

Pavnix/Cass Snow {Art Comms Open} @pavnix.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

I'm sad if only because I've been using SAI (1) since 2010 and I've owned CSP for some yrs now but haven't moved over bc my sketch brush & paint brush couldn't be easily migrated. But I always thought maybe I'm just lazy and if look it can be done? Now I have confirmation it may be as I feared. ;n;

110

Pavnix/Cass Snow {Art Comms Open} @pavnix.bsky.social · 11/01/2025

A long time ago I had this inking pen setting for SAI I loved using, but somehow lost. (P sure when I upgraded my pc it reset brushes.) Looking at my recent sketch I'm reminded of it, in a good way! With the new drawing tablet I don't feel as inclined to have to draw with my usual thicc lines.

Pavnix/Cass Snow {Art Comms Open} @pavnix.bsky.social · 11/01/2025

After having just sketched these horns for a comm I'm doing, I'm feeling a bit envious how lovely and elegant you make them look, haha. Granted I don't draw au ra's regularly BUT STILL. Look how nice they could look!

Pavnix/Cass Snow {Art Comms Open} @pavnix.bsky.social · 10/01/2025

Psssst. The sketch isn't done but I know how thirsty the internet can be so here's my comm sketch so far before I add clothes and other details/fine tuning. #ffxiv #ffxivart #ffxivartwork #wipart #commission #aura #ffxivaura #digitalart #digitalartwork #wip

Whichever makes you happiest and feels right to do. If both make you happy, vary between pieces with styles now and then. You're talented and wonderful no matter what - and we'll always be happy to see what you create & bring to life.
