5 more miles walked but not productive, Green Woodpecker not showing in usual area, only singing Skylark added to #footit list. Total now 65 species.

2 more species added for #footit today with the addition of Herring Gull and Sparrowhawk. Total is now 64 species and 18 miles walked. Average now 3.55 birds per mile.

Halfway for #footit 3 more miles with 36 species seen. 4 new birds today were White Fronted Goose, GBB Gull, Grey Wagtail and Redpoll taking my #footit total to 62 species and 16 miles walked, averaging 3.87 birds per mile.

Based on your latest #footit total of 93 species covering 94 miles, that gives you an average of 0.98 birds per mile. I am on 58 species with 13 miles covered, that gives me an average of 4.46 birds per miles, so mathematical if I was not so lazy and walked 94 miles that would put me on 419 species

Lovely day at @rspbotmoor.bsky.social yesterday, highlights include Marsh Harrier food pass, 10+ Cattle Egret, Great White Egret, 5 Common Crane flying over, Lesser Whitethroat and the long staying Glossy Ibis.
