the smiling corgi dog meme, I reckon

I don’t think you’re romanticising it at all. I use social media to learn from and be inspired by people such as Jules, Marc, Jay, Sean and others. There’s a beneficial contagion at play here, for years. From a record label, I expect respect for the work put in; no hype, no cred, no validation.

to be honest and if my memory serves me right, apart from Evel – a big family led by someone (Alfonso et al) who works tirelessly (artistic intuition, communication, mastering, mixing, artwork, promotion, etc) – I can’t remember a single occasion when I didn’t regret not having done things myself.

I’ve always enjoyed being associated with labels run by genuinely nice people, and whenever there was a physical release (CD or vinyl); when it came to FLAC/WAV files business, it was always down to sheer carelessness, aka 'this is just to let you know we're still around' and shit

this has been sitting on my hard drive for over two years and I decided to put it on the internet two weeks ago. if you fancy the whisper of an old organ drowned out by the natural acoustics of an old church, this might be for you. as per usual, you name your price. xo #bandcampfriday
