He had no other choice and this is 5 years overdue. The dismal performance in Euro 2020 should have seen him sacked. Instead, he helped perpetuate Scotland’s underdog mentality and persisted with dreadful brand of dinosaur football, showing loyalty to players who were nowhere near required level.

But they’re not letting the game flow. Lots of fussy refereeing in some games and they are disallowing plenty of goals for fouls. There’s just no rational explanation for failing to review and award some of these clear and obvious penalties
