It’s been a while since I picked up a brush, and almost a decade since I last painted a #SpaceMarine. Fun tester model for a new army. Need to finish shoulder pads with iconography and tactical designations. #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #40K

It’s been a couple of weeks since I went to #WarhammerWorld #WHW for the #AoS doubles. Very pleased to have been nominated for the best army award (alongside my partner and his Khornate Daemons). #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #AgeOfSigmar

My army for the #WarhammerWorld #AoS doubles this weekend. Looking forward to it a lot! I had planned to get a Skull Alter painted too, but I’m not sure I can cope with any more sleep deprivation on this project… 😅 #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #AoS #AgeOfSigmar

Aaaaaand done! 1000pt of Khornate Champions finished in time for the weekend doubles event at #warhammerworld #WHW This has been a slog - will post a collage of the army when I get a chance. #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #AoS #AgeOfSigmar

More Khorne?! I’m going to be using this as a second Skullgrinder for my army at a doubles next weekend. As ever, a few things I’d do differently (hammer face in silver, a smoother finish on face and chest…) #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #AoS #AgeOfSigmar

Another mighty hero, collecting skulls for the skull throne! Though I’m not happy with the horns, need to jack up the contrast somewhat. Will re-visit - open to suggestions! #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #AoS #AgeOfSigmar

Finished up another mighty hero of Khorne! This #AoS Bloodstoker is the second character in a Gorchosen Champions army I’m painting. Sadly he took a tumble during painting and lost some spikes along the way… 🙈 #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #AgeOfSigmar

Difficult to photograph this guy due to the flail, can’t get the composition quite right. But here’s a finished #AoS Skullgrinder, the first mini in my Blades Of Khorne army for a doubles in October. #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #AgeOfSigmar

A bit more work to do on the hair and tabard (and obviously the base 😅) but I have to stop for the night and wanted to take some better pics. #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #AoS #AgeOfSigmar

Painting again for the first time in a while. Working on an army of mighty heroes of Khorne for #AoS. This Skullgrinder is my test model. Still working out the scheme. #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #AgeOfSigmar

I’ve not picked up a model in 6 months, but finally back on the horse. Working on this #AoS Skullgrinder. Feel like the base needs something more. Suggestions welcomed! #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #AgeOfSigmar

Looking back on 2024, finally getting back into painting after a few years off and I’m pleased with my progress. No airbrush. Pics in chronological order (except my ugly mug, which is a decade old pic… got a few more grey hairs now!) #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer

Work in progress on #Warhammer #AgeOfSigmar Abraxia. Think I messed up the light directions a tad, the chest is a bit inconsistent between blue plates and trim, but not gonna sweat it too much. #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #AoS

It was from a 2018 league in Hackney, London (StenchBrew BloodBowl League or SBBBL) I think I called them the Small Squeakers 🐀 Sadly not played much #BloodBowl for the last few years.

A while back I made an Ogre #BloodBowl team with Stormfiends as Rat Ogres. Sadly they don’t have many (any?) hands in the kit, so I chopped up some River Trolls for their hands. #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer

Probably need to retake with a non-blue backdrop 😅 A #Warhammer #40K Necron Destroyer Lord conversion - I want a fan of the lopsided 3 arm thing so built a slightly mad new torso… from a few years back. #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis

Got this wicked little ring light that clips onto my phone around the camera. Really pleased with it in combination with my top-down lit light box. Will share some pics done with it over the next few days. #PaintingMinis (or photographing them at least) (The ring light is a LITTIL Selfie One)

Second day of our #Necromunda weekend - here’s a group shot of all the gangs that took part (plus some of the NPCs). T’was a phenomenal little event. The quality of painting, and the event missions and story, all top notch. #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #40K

A chaotic 3-way #Necromunda game, Ogryns and Goliaths ambushing Cawdor on a transport. Sadly infighting between the ambushers is hampering their effectiveness… #Warhammer #40K

The last Ogryn close up before my #Necromunda weekend. Ste Iron Fist (is Iron his middle name?!) is the gang boss. With paired Augmetic Fists, and some intense stims, he’s quite punchy! Wish me luck for the weekend 🤞 #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #40k

The #Necromunda weekend im going to starts tomorrow! So here’s another Ogryn close up. A ‘regular’ ganger with a Storm Welder. Basically a lightning gun - it’s a bit indiscriminate about targets, so gotta be careful. #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #40k

I’m off to play #Necromunda this weekend, so gonna do some highlights of the models I’m taking - and Ogryn gang! This is my Underboss, Gol, swinging a Spud-Jacker (big spanner) and an Arc Welder (big fist). #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingMinis #Warhammer #40k

Good eye! Going for something that, if you squint, might be called Stormcast Infernals - so choosing some planer heads (think that’s from the chosen or warriors sprus?) and lopping off some of the spikes on the model here and there. Probably too subtle overall.
