Sadly via my cancer and network having grown. And to many old friends (reconnected) with cancer. Being told treatment is available through would be time limited usually for 2 years only is common.

Thankfully not me yet. Close friends; 1 coming to the end 2 years immunotherapy. Worked wonders to continue £5000 a month. Fighting via consultant. The other trial drug working and free ending another available if pays. He is selling everything they own bar house. Both leaving partners penny less.

‪I have #Cancer more and more I am hearing that NHS funding for treatment XYZ after EFG is ending. To continue it will cost 1000’s few can afford more than a year. Drug A no longer effective B will cost. Some selling everything they have for a few more years.‬ ‪What would you do?‬

Recently in hospital, they insisted in giving me drugs I had not used for some time. Doses to high or to low, having been adjusted. A drug that would be tapered up just given at highest. Frequencies wrong and interactions. On top of my blood clot the reason I was in, caused me many problems. DATA!

Always had poor teeth working away Mon-Fri no option other than to go private on a Saturday when home, reasonable cost. Now have terminal cancer, desperate need for new top pallet trouble talking eating, gums shrinking etc. No NHS help, so private again £700+, start to finish nearly 8 weeks.
