There are a finite amount of Fridays in 2026... As in other years. 2026 is not special, Fridays come and Fridays go until the last one and... I've actually lost my thread... Anyway, it's #FlowerPowerFriday. #FlowersOnFriday #DrawingFunnyPictures #WeirdNotWonderful #SeekInspirationInBeauty

Saw Coyote Vs Acme yesterday and it was an absolute wonderful absurdist delight. In an overtly vulgar and Ernest world, some old-fashioned, silliness is very welcome. Shaun the sheep this week. 👍 #CoyoteVsAcme #thebeastofmossybottom #drawingfunnypictures #NonsensicalOrnithology #WeirdNotWonderful

Today being #Caturday, and Eric being the proud Cat of a Cartoonist, I felt a desire to, Librocubicubularistically, read some W. Heath Robinson. A wonderfully whimsical, eccentric and hilarious Cartoonist. A balm in this world of Trumpian Vulgarity. #drawingfunnypictures #ericthecartoonistscat

Humourous Comic Strips, an art that combines funny pictures with Funny words. A combination of Pratfalls and Poetry, some might say. And there was no better practitioner of it than the man born 146 years ago today. Happy Birthday Mr Herriman and thanks for the Joy. #GentleHumor #GeorgeHerriman

100 years ago this very day, René Goscinny was born. Artistic mind, along with Albert Uderzo, behind Asterix, one of the funniest Comics of all time. He is also mentioned a lot in Harvey Kurtzman's biography. Eric is a Cat of a Cartoonist and would like to commemorate this. Happy Birthday Sir.

I do so love the word, "Meaningless"... It is a beautiful word to say. The way you can elongate the "mean" making the shortness and sharpness of the other 2 syllables stand out. I go looking for things with no meaning, just so I can use this word, which, paradoxically, gives these things meaning.

Rather poignantly, I wondered if any of the brave men and women whose names are on the War Memorial ever posted a letter in this old Victorian postbox, in their lifetime. Also, their sacrifice meant events like Swanage Carnival could exist, years later. #PostboxSaturday 📮🎖️❤️

For the love of Aphrodite's blue toothbrush. I'm no fan of the amoral vulgarian sitting in the Oval Office, but Draw your own cartoons, if you have to say this. Charles M Schulz was a genuinely funny and gentle man. Stop spitting in his face by taking his creation to make such an ugly point.
