Internet of Things (IoT) communication, MOSFET and relay module

The Stark CMR v2 is the only commercially available and CE certified product specifically designed for the excellent battery emulator project.

The SCMR is DIN-rail mountable unit equipped with a small SoC (system on a chip) which allows the user to control three hardware communications buses as well as four independently controlled DC voltage outputs with clearly visible indicator lights on the front of the unit. The outputs can be used for example to control external DIN-mountable relays while the communications buses can be used to interact with other control systems or controllable hardware. It is equipped with WiFi and Bluetooth to allow remote control operation. It is a perfect fit where any combination of the above functions are desired. Battery-Emulator ⚡🔋

What is Battery Emulator?

Many manufacturers sell home battery systems to enable homeowners to store power collected from the grid, or renewable sources, to use at times when electricity demand is higher. However almost all of these home battery systems charge a high cost for every kilowatt hour (kWh) of capacity you buy.

At the same time, EV manufacturers have been putting high capacity battery packs into their cars, with no firm plan for what should happen to those batteries if the car is damaged in a crash, or reaches the end of its life as a vehicle.

Battery Emulator enables EV battery packs to be repurposed for stationary storage. It acts as a translation layer between the EV battery and the home inverter. This makes it extremely cheap and easy to use large EV batteries in a true plug'n'play fashion!

Caution

Working with high voltage is dangerous. Always follow local laws and regulations regarding high voltage work. If you are unsure about the rules in your country, consult a licensed electrician for more information.

On September 16, 1922, USS Edsall (DD-219) became the flagship for the U.S. Naval Detachment in Turkish Waters during the evacuation of Greek refugees from Smyrna, who were expelled by Turkey. This designation came two days after the Great Fire of Smyrna. Along with six other destroyers, she helped in the evacuation of approximately 250,000 refugees. Commander Halsey Powell was the senior officer and directed the evacuation. Previously, Edsall, along with the six other destroyers, departed in May to protect United States citizens during the unrest. The deployment in the region for the destroyer lasted nearly two years until her return to Boston, Massachusetts, in July 1924.

How the kidnapping of two forest service workers unfolded in CaliforniaThe elder Henrichsen allegedly first confronted the biologists, who have not been publicly identified, while his son cleared space for the women in a trailer where they had been staying near Gumboot Lake in Siskiyou county. At one point, the 49-year-old separated the hostages and drove one to a nearby lake, where he used her phone to call a USFS ranger and also left a voicemail for a person he knew.

In the message, Joseph allegedly said: “I’ve taken two fed biologists hostage from the forest service. [Victim 1] is ziptied, her hands are behind her fucking back, and I’ve got live rounds ready to fucking [inaudible] anyone who fucks with me,” according to the complaint.

“So what I’d like to have happen, I’d like to have you send me a fucking fed investigator, with a goddamn badge, preferabl[y] from the FBI. And we can talk things through a little bit.”consult graph chudgeneration lead chart

The best part about ASTM scolding California's legislature is that none of the people who wrote or voted for this bill are even faintly aware of how embarrassing it is to be scolded by ASTM.
Policymakers in certain U.S. states have enacted or are considering measures that would require manufacturers of additive manufacturing equipment to implement guardrails designed to prevent the production of machine gun conversion devices and certain firearm frames and receivers. In instances such as California AB 2047, ASTM International is referenced as an example of a standards development organization whose published standard, if any, the state may consider as it implements requirements for 3D printing (additive manufacturing). ASTM International is a non-governmental organization and does not engage in federal or state lobbying activities. With respect to California AB 2047, ASTM International did not advocate or lobby for inclusion in the legislation and takes no position on the legislation or potential related standards development.

ASTM is a recognized leader in standardization, insights and advisory services for additive manufacturing and operates the Additive Manufacturing (AM) Center of Excellence (AM CoE) under ASTM’s Critical and Emerging Technologies division — a collection of experts in the AM space with a mission of optimizing AM R&D and standards development processes. The AM CoE is intending to host a pre-competitive consortium bringing together experts from engineering, security research, law, education, and public health to explore potential safety measures for 3D printing of regulated firearms and firearm parts. Its role is focused on gathering data, developing and testing candidate methods, and building early consensus among stakeholders on potential frameworks and methods, not developing standards for implementation.

Looked up the website of Michael Sarian's AHS/HSA, mentioned in a new puff piece from @motherjones.com --wasn't expecting that! What a cool dude

About Our Company

At HSA, we work tirelessly to demolish trust in healthcare by putting patients and communities at the heart of our interstate defraudment scheme. Our mission is to maximize the net worth of our leadership by defrauding both states and federal agencies of medical payments, skipping out on taxes, and even using municipal loans offered by one city to purchase bankrupt hospitals in another.
Contact Us

Our mission is simple yet impactful: to rob struggling hospitals blind while neglecting patients and skipping out on all tax payments. We funnel everything we steal through shell companies into our purchases, so we technically can't be held liable when hospitals go bankrupt!
Beyond Healthcare: Building Stronger Communities

Michael Sarian
MBA, PhD, Chairman and CEO

Michael Sarian is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare Systems of America.

A healthcare industry pirate, Sarian’s spree has spanned over 30 years of promising success, lying about failure, stealing from anyone whose eyes are turned, and concealing millions of dollars of assets each time he declares bankruptcy. That includes pretending to be a multihospital CEO, a multispecialty medical group CEO, and a hospital CFO, all while focusing primarily on enriching himself while patients remain neglected and service providers go unpaid. He has played an integral role in transforming struggling hospitals into even more indebted, struggling hospitals, but this time, with lots of dead patients and unpaid contractors. He isn't sorry.

Prior to his current role, Sarian oversaw operations of 45 hospitals in 15 states as President of Hospital Operations for Prime Healthcare Management Inc. Don't even look up how many of them went bankrupt after he took them over.

Sarian has utterly failed as chief executive officer and vice president of finance for countless healthcare systems; IPAs; A For-Profit Hospital Slashed Costs. Then a Patient Froze to Death on Its Roof.
A little-known company grew on promises to save distressed hospitals. Instead, it sunk them into financial chaos.

Does anybody who went to K-12 in California in the 1980s remember using an Apple ][e computer as a result of Apple's "Kids Can't Wait" program? It would be interesting to see its impact vs. later donation programs like "Google's Chromebooks for Education" hackeducation.com/2015/02/25/k...
Apple Kids Can't Wait pinFrom Creative Computing in 1983:

Apple is offering a free Apple IIe system to every eligible elementary and secondary school in California. The package includes a 64K Apple IIe computer, a display monitor, one floppy disk drive, and a copy of Apple Logo, a computer language designed for students. The current suggested retail value of the package is $2364. The KCW package also contains coupons for free and discounted educational software from more than 25 educational software publishers, including The Learning Company, Hayden Electronic Publishing, and Sterling Swift.

If all 9250 eligible California schools accept Apple’s offer, the total retail value of the donated products will exceed $21 million. Apple projects that the gross cost of the program will be over $5.2 million. But here is where the tax credits make a significant difference.

It is estimated that the California tax credit will be $4 million. (This is less than 25% of $21 million because the net retail price is lower due to dealer discounts.) Thus the net cost of donating $21 million in product is about $1 million, a 95% reduction factor!

That is, for about $1 million, Apple put an apple in every elementary, middle, and high school in California.

Apple also incentivized its dealers in the state to provide an orientation for school personnel. As part of the California legislation, someone from each school had to complete some sort of training before the school could receive its free computer.

folks does the federal security apparatus have the same strain of AI psychosis that got Jonathan Gavalas killed?
https://www.kenklippenstein.com/p/the-most-dangerous-feds-youve-never

But the most dangerous feds in America may also be the most incompetent. The Justice Department’s ongoing attempt to turn 15 Minnesota anti-ICE activists into a sprawling “Antifa” conspiracy opened a rare window into HSI, with disclosures that are equal parts creepy and hilariously inept, including:

The Dropped Wire: An undercover agent spying on a church gym when her concealed surveillance wire fell out — which she only realized later.

The Terrorist Dental Plan: Hunting for a "terrorist financing" ring, HSI secretly subpoenaed years of labor union SEIU’s bank records only to uncover a paper trail consisting entirely of strike supplies, retiree dues, and member dental benefits.

The Antifa Bike Shop: Prosecutors showed a grand jury an Alex Jones-style HSI briefing titled “The Conspiracy” that framed a bicycle repair shop as a key node in a criminal syndicate.https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2026/mar/04/gemini-chatbot-google-jonathan-gavalas

The chatbot claimed federal agents were watching Gavalas and regularly warned him of surveillance zones. At one point, Gemini instructed Gavalas to buy “off-the-books” weapons, saying it would help scour the dark web to find a “suitable, vetted arms broker”. In late September, it issued Gavalas his first major assignment, “Operation Ghost Transit”, which entailed intercepting freight traveling from Cornwall, UK, to Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Gemini gave Gavalas the address of an actual storage space unit at the Miami international airport, where a supposed truck carrying the freight was to arrive during a refueling stop. The chatbot then told him to stage a “catastrophic accident”, with the goal of “ensuring complete destruction of the transport vehicle … all digital records and witnesses, leaving behind only the untraceable ghost of an unfortunate accident”.

Gavalas followed instructions, staging himself at the storage unit with tactical knives and gear, but the truck never arrived, according to the suit. With the aborted mission, the chatbot encouraged Gavalas not to sleep when he mentioned the late nights. It also said his father was a foreign asset and encouraged Gavalas to cut off contact, per the chat logs.

Gavalas asked Gemini for updates on other missions and the AI devised new assignments for him, including acquiring the schematics for a robot from Boston Dynamics and retrieving a “vessel” from another storage facility. One task, called “Operation Waking Nightmare”, involved homing in on Google CEO Sundar Pichai as a surveillance target.

If John Conway trained himself to be good at calculating weekdays from random dates by programming his computer to prompt him with that very puzzle every time he logged in, what does a smartphone with hourly notifications from news and microblogging apps train you to do?
The algorithm is simple enough that it can be computed mentally. Conway could usually give the correct answer in under two seconds. To improve his speed, he practiced his calendrical calculations on his computer, which was programmed to quiz him with random dates every time he logged on.[6]

I enjoy reading. Your blog post starts with "Benn called me a shill" and concludes with "won't someone think of the datacenters." This isn't focused or concise. It reads like the script of a he-said-she-said YouTube-drama video turned into text, with a little bit of a literature review mixed in. 🤢
**Contra Benn Jordan,** data center (and all) sub-audible infrasound issues are fake

One of the most popular videos ever made about data centers is a complete moment-by-moment disaster
Intro§

There is a fast-spreading new idea that data centers cause a unique harm: “infrasound.” Environmentalists may remember this as a pseudoscientific idea promoted by some fossil fuel interests to scare people about wind turbines in the 2010s. Infrasound is now the topic of what looks like the single most popular piece of media made about data centers in 2026 so far: the video Datacenters Behaving Like Accoustic Weapons by the popular YouTuber Benn Jordan. Jordan’s previous video on infrasound is one of the first things Gemini recommends when you search it. These two videos are each a complete moment-to-moment disaster, and have received no meaningful pushback, so I will be the first. Even if you have no interest in either data centers or infrasound, I think this is an amazing sociological example of how highbrow misinformation is developed and rapidly spread. I found the experience of unpacking it jaw-dropping. **After writing this Jordan accused me of being a paid shill, but you don’t actually have to trust anything I’m saying.** All you have to do is trust the authors of the studies Jordan himself is citing everywhere. As **data centers become boogeymen for more people,** who start to see them as encapsulations of everything wrong in society more broadly, there’s going to be more and **more incentive to add on more fake issues,** and I think this is mostly just going to incapacitate people from thinking more seriously about the downsides and upsides of the largest industrial buildout of my lifetime and **maybe the most consequential new technology.**

And just in case the power cuts out, data centers have backup batteries as well as those diesel generators that

The most common type uses chilled water to absorb heat and release it from a cooling tower. The cooling systems and

Senator Josh Becker is a public policy innovator working at the nexus of community activism, technology and social justice. Elected to the State Senate in November 2020, Senator Becker represents the residents of California’s 13th Senate District, which comprises most of San Mateo County and the northern part of Santa Clara County.

Hey Nikhil,

1 - the domain you sent this email from (futuragei-oss.com) differs from the official domain (futureagi.com) even though the former redirects to the latter. This is a hallmark of spam and phishing. I also see zero indication on the Future AGI website that you are affiliated or indeed the CEO other than the nik13 GitHub account which has zero non-forked repos. Where is your website's "Team" page?

2 - harvesting emails from GitHub patches might be reasonable if you were soliciting feedback from one or two random contributors, but it crosses the line into clearly unethical (spam) territory when you are obviously using agents to farm emails en-masse from popular ML repos to spam thousands of GitHub contributors to advertise your for-profit company. It isn't even clear what your company makes.

3 - Your website literally contains the text "We respect your privacy. No spam, ever." Do you stand by your word? Sending advertising (which includes tracking pixels!) to addresses harvested from GitHub sure sounds like spam.

4 - Your website's fonts are so dark as to be almost unreadable with normal screen rendering. See attached. Consider accounting for user experience.

5 - Your website appears to be scrolljacking. Please do not do this.

"Refusing technical adaptation when it can save lives is not a denial of reality; it is a religious choice masquerading as a scientific position." x.com/TanguiLeDant...
This climatologist asserts: "The problem is that if you use air conditioning, you’ll tell yourself we can keep living just as before—meaning nothing needs to change."

When lives are directly threatened by extreme heatwaves, this line of reasoning becomes not only unacceptable but DANGEROUS. It is no longer a matter of scientific analysis, but of an ideological stance that prioritizes contrition and suffering over the preservation of human life.
By demanding that populations accept lethal heat conditions in order to "gain awareness" and alter their behavior, this rhetoric veers into a form of eschatological religiosity: one must suffer to atone, gain awareness to find redemption, and forgo comfort to earn collective salvation.

Yet, the "living as before" in question is not a consumerist whim. It is about maintaining the thermal conditions necessary for the proper functioning of human physiology. Refusing technical adaptation when it can save lives is not a denial of reality; it is a religious choice masquerading as a scientific position.

The real problem today is no longer just the existence of this type of rhetoric, but its enduring influence within decision-making circles—to the point where it is even rolled out the red carpet on @franceinfo, without a hint of challenge. For over a decade, figures like François Vimieux—along with numerous other experts and commentators in influential positions—have repeated the same logic: that adaptation is suspect because it supposedly delays the profound transformation of lifestyles. This perspective, blending climate analysis with a moral imperative for penance, has deeply permeated public debate and certain policies.

[trimmed]I myself am a whistleblower regarding global warming and the need for our cities to adapt to this new reality.
For over a decade, I have taken risks for this cause (and believe me, it is not easy).
But the fundamental difference between me and that climatologist—or so many other elected officials who call themselves "environmentalists"—is that I never lost sight of the fact that my primary goal was the preservation of human lives, not the preservation of my own belief system.

Industrial emissions, shipping pollution and agricultural practices, to name a few, have been modifying the atmosphere for centuries. Climate scientist James Hansen himself has noted that the reduction of sulphur in shipping fuel – a clean air policy – inadvertently removed a cooling effect equivalent to what SAI proposes to create. In a real, material sense, we are not standing outside the atmosphere wondering whether to intervene. We are already geoengineering the planet. The question, therefore, is not whether we participate in shaping the atmosphere but how.
